“For a company from Salt Lake City, you guys sure know how to throw a great party.” My favorite quote of the night, courtesy of our great partners at Mountain House who were working their way around the cocktail menu. And I’ve got to admit, I think they’re right (but then the customer always is, right??). Check out some of the highlights from our first Denver based ExpertVoice Mixer at Summer OR, and then start planning how to secure your invite to the next one:

  • Location. Check. Hosted at one of Denver’s most exclusive bars, Williams & Graham. Think full on speakeasy – complete with entrance via secret bookshelf. The bar has been recognized internationally as one of the top 50 bars in the world and their mixologists are credited with kicking off the craft cocktail scene in Denver.  I’m telling you, magic happens behind those bookshelves
  • Exclusive invite. Check. When you host a party at a speakeasy (known as a Blind Tiger back in the prohibition days), there’s nothing like a personal invitation via a secret password or a limited-edition pin to create a little buzz and ensure your guests feel like they are part of a special community. And guess what, they are.
  • Good food and even better drinks. Check Check. See item #1. A few themed cocktails (Ginfluence Matters or an ExpertVice, anyone?) and a bar staff catering to every whim and desire pull it all together. Jalapeno tinctures, mystical shrubs, cardamom bitters, cucumber syrups… need I say more?
  • Incredible networking. Check.
    1. Interested in overhearing co-founders of Altra and Goal Zero trade war stories about the challenging and weighty decision to sell your company? It happens at the Mixer.
    2. Want to rub elbows with local experts and hear why they love ExpertVoice (or solicit feedback about your brand experience)? Yup, that happens too.
    3. Wonder what happens when the entire social media team at Nuun storms your event? Well, you’d have to see that in person.
    4. Considering ExpertVoice as part of your marketing arsenal? Ask Stanley or Bonk Breaker what it was like getting to know the ExpertVoice team in a casual setting. I think they liked it. I mean, after all, we are real people too.
    5. Just plain looking to see people let down their guard when they step away from the exhibit halls? That’s what the Mixer is all about.

No, there wasn’t dancing on the bar, loud DJs, strobe lights or crazy costumes. And I didn’t hear anyone complaining about it. After all, as Mountain House says, we throw a pretty good party. See you at Winter OR?
