These levels are very sensitive and highly accurate which is what you need when mounting a riflescope. If your off a degree or 2 you can have major issues when shooting, especially at distance like 1000yds. If your scope is canted then your elevation turret is no longer going up and down in relation to the bore. It will be going up and down on an angle. Which may not matter much when your only shooting 100 yds. But when you Shoot 1000yds like I do every little thing counts. You invest a lot of time and money in your rifles and riflescopes so spend a few bucks extra and get these levels so you mount your scope properly.

Used on several rifles. Only ran across one problem with browning t bolt receiver which is rounded rather than flat creating an issue for using this system to level the scope. However upon research noted a higher end reticle leveling system that should work. However I am also aware of the use of plumb lines to align scope reticle when rifle is supported on a level surface... but requires more work to set that up then the tool and probably not as precise.

Low cost and performs as designed. I've always used two small levels in the past but decided to buy purpose built levels. If you mount at least one scope a year, this product is worth the cost!

Simple. Easy to use. All of the scopes mounted by our cabelas location use these levels. Magnetic in just the right places make the mounting quick and easy

Perfect for leveling a scope to a bolt action rifle or any rifle that has a level block of metal in the upper receiver for the magnetic block to sit on.
