Better than I expected.
I initially I from the instructions it looks like you are supposed to twist the rope through.. which I tried for about a foot, and then I realized just pulling it through was the obvious answer. My rope is on the fat side at 10.5 and initially it was hard to pull through but once I got the hang of it, it was fine. I ran it through 3 times with rope was and twice with just clean water. I bet it took me about an hour but my rope looks way better and it doesn’t make your hands black with rope grit from handling it. It doesn’t feel like a brand new rope, but hey it’s 6 or 7 years old. On another note, I wondered if the bristles would hold up but they are quite strong and felt just fine after 300m of pulling dirty rope through.
