After many years of hard use, my original lid that came with my pot started to fade and I accidentally melted it along one edge. It still mostly worked but didn't seal up quite as well as it used to. So I looked for a replacement and found they offer these at a very reasonable price. Purchased a new one and replaced my old one and my pot is good to go for many more years of hard use. If I wasn't so careless I wouldn't have needed to replace it but I'm glad they give me a way to do so.
