As simple as this device is, it really kept me comfortable in both sun and rain. Works not only as a shelter half, but also as a hasty bivy. Durable material, solid anchor points, light weight, compact. Good choice for extended longer range 3-season adventures.

I always have this in my winter bag (and an emergency bivvy) on backcountry adventures. I feel confident that I could spend a night in the winter backcountry if a heli/SAR crew can't get to me. I also use it as a single-person, ultra-light shelter for three season backpacking. This is a great, simple but well-designed product that brings me a lot of peace of mind.

I have used this several times to protect from the sun and it's worked very well. I've yet to need it in the rain, but it seems like it would repeal water without an issue.
U.S. Army - Military
The tarp works great for hasty shelters, and packs down fairly small for the amount of utility it offers. The guyline tabs are nice but overengineered, I would have preferred to just have reinforced grommets for the guylines. The tabs offer a easy way to tension the lines if you aren't comfortable with tensioning hitches, but they are plastic and small so I don't know how much I would trust them under high tension, especially in cold temps where plastic can get brittle. Tent itself is the perfect size for a single person shelter, and could fit two people in a snug configuration.

I wish there were more color options even I camouflage choices, but that very easy set up and take down even though we have not used this product during the rain. It seems like it would hold up very well in wind and rain it properly set up. it is very light impeccable for hiking and it’s plenty large enough to cover my and a friends bivy or hammock. It is with the high side of prices, but it is worth it.
