My broad head of choice

Expert Recommendation Content I’ve been bowhunting with these broad heads since 2013 and have taken multiple deer in a variety of scenarios. Full pass throughs, opposite side shoulders, heart, liver, lung, 10-50+ yard shots shooting a 60 pound bow with only a 25.5inch draw length - recovered every one of them. Love Ramcat and have no reason to switch!

Perfect

Expert Recommendation Content I’ve used these broadheads for many years now. I’ve shot them out of 5 different bows and killed multiple animals. These blades fly just like a field point at any yardage. They are dangerously sharp and leave devastating wound channels. Highly recommend.

Flies great!

Haven't been lucky enough to bag something with these broad heads yet, but they fly REALLY well! I had to make zero adjustments from my field points to these, which is awesome! Now fingers crossed for next bow season!

Most Accurate Fixed Blade Broadhead on the market

I’ve shot Ramcats for a year now and am always surprised with the results. It is the biggest cutting diameter fixed blade broadhead. It flies true to the field points and penetration is unreal.

Great flying deep penetrating fixed broached

I put this on the end of my wife's arrows for a hog hunt. She only pulls 40lbs so I wanted her shooting a fixed blade. It flies as well as any mechanical broadhead I've used. She didn't get a pass through with it but still had enough penetration to get the job done.

I have been using these broadheads since 2013 and they really are the deepest penetrating, most accurate fixed blade broadhead out there.

Only broadheads I'll ever use

Drew my first Nevada archery bull tag this year. I did a lot of research on broadheads and determined these are what I wanted to use and I'm glad I did! Called a bull in to 33 yards, shot and had a complete pass through! These broadheads don't mess around and the wound channel was HUGE. Only bad thing I noticed is one of the bolts to tighten the blades did come loose on one broadhead as I was pulling an arrow from the quiver but as long as you make sure they're tight you shouldn't have an issue. Definitely recommend these broadheads!

Effective

Expert Recommendation Content These broad heads don’t play. I hit this doe quartered away, so it entered at the posterior end of her right lung and push through to just inside the left shoulder. It completely wrecked both lungs. She only ran 20-25 yards. A quick and humane harvest is always the goal and the Ramcat broadhead delivered.

Expert Recommendation Content Love the broad head, only thing is that the blades can come loose. If you just double check em every day you shouldn't have any problems. I've had pass throughs on every deer and pig I've shot even out to 85 yards. Another thing is to consider is make sure your quiver can fit them, I can fit three in my six arrow quiver.

True to name

Expert Recommendation Content These broadheads live up to their name; they hit like a ram and cut like a cat! They fly similar to field points, leave an impressive wound channel, and helped this first time hunter harvest two deer this season! One of the blades (replaceable) did bend on this buck, but that's an easy replacement. Overall, highly recommend.

Great broadhead

Screw in tuning, big wound channel, and cheap enough to not care if you end up losing a few. The only reason it is not a 10 is because the screws holding the blades in can get loose but I did test the flight if loose and they still fly spectacular. I killed a mule deer then a turkey with the same head 2 weeks ago and got a pass through on both! The head is no longer what I would consider "hunting sharp" but other than having to tighten the blades, its in perfect condition.

Has worked every time for me

I love this broadhead. Used three times and three successes. After some issues with malfunctioning mechanical broadheads, this is now my go-to broadhead. You wait all year and then days in the stand waiting for one chance. I feel completely confident using this point for that one opportunity. My shots with this broadhead have all been between 32 and 40 yards. All three flew absolutely straight with zero tuning.

Expert Recommendation Content I’ve used ramcats the past 5+ years on numerous species from bears to deer to African game. I have yet to be let down. These broadheads leave a wake of destruction and makes trailing easy. They shoot, for me, very similar to a field tip and makes siting in my bow pretty quick and easy.

Got several animals with

Hit an antelope buck at 85 yards, heart shot. The arrow was a total pass through on a quartering to shot! If you antelope hunt you know there are some long shots but the hole these guys made was amazing. I stopped hunting with Rages Hypodermics because of the hassle of the collars and these feel like the perfect compromise.

Used several broadheads promising they fly like a field point. After several years of frustration I started using ramcat broadheads. In all sincerity hydroschock broad heads fly true like no other broad head I have used. Great product and the cutting diameter is incredible. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

Effective

Fantastic performance. flies great, and made short work of the cow elk I used it on. Shot placement matters, but this head made for a quick and effective kill. She went about 12 yards. Heads up, there sharp out of the box, opened my finger when I was complacent. Minor Broadhead turning was required just like any other fixed head. Will happily use it again.

Great Flight

The broadhead flies just like a field point. It did a great job on the target with penetration. The blades are super sharp out of the box and the included wrench makes tightening the blades easy after a few shots. This is a great beginning fixed-blade broadhead for the price point. The flight is very comparable to the muzzy fixed-blade broadheads. Definitely worth the price and will purchase more in the future.

Like painting the ground with a paint roller

Last deer I shot mathews triax 74lbs arrow at 35yards went straight through the deers heart and buried itself 3/4 of the way into the ground. Followed the 24+" wide blood trail about 10yards to where the deer expired. 🦌 didn't go 20! Highly recommended won't use anything else

Broadheads fly like field points. Great for hunting deer and other medium game animals. I looking forward to trying them on an elk. The screws are reverse thread when tightening the blades.

Works good

In short, the broadheads did their job as far as its use in hunting. However, I was looking for a broadhead that cut and penetrated well But was ALSO consistent as far as grouping was concerned. The ramcat hydroshock did this for me.
