Great bottle for hot and cold drinks

Construction of the bottle looks and feels great to me. I love the green color and the size and shape of the bottle are great. It really has that nostalgic feel to it. Looking forward to using this more while I'm up at Stanley, ID doing research and want to keep my coffee/hot cocoa warm. Will update my review in a few months with more notes on its use. UPDATE: Keeps my cider or hot water very warm. Cap/cup is nice to sip from. Inside seal works great. If I pour water in boiling it stays hot for hours. Seal has been trustworthy as well from being tossed around in my bag while snowboarding.

Industrial grade convenience

I borrowed a 1.5L thermos from my mother to work outside dark early in northern Indiana February to do some work while visiting. It was 17° f and slightly windy. It was "suggested" by my mother I take the Stanley, as if it was a tool to keep warm and not just a coffee carrier. I stuck it in the truck to appease her. After working in the cold for 6 hours I decided to take a break and sit in the truck for a minute and noticed the thermos. I poured a cup into the handy lid and it was steaming. My first thought was, yep-still frigid cold out here. I then went to take a gulp of coffee and about burnt my lip and tongue. I didn't know it was possible to keep something warm for so long! I sat and enjoyed warm coffee and was quickly comfortable. I guess it's true, a mother always knows best. I now own my own after an experience I will never forget.

An absolute classic! Working in metal fabrication this is a survivor

I love how easy it is to clean and its durability. It also keeps coffee hot for the whole day! The handle is nice in the hand. But I always seem to lose the cup/cap. The stainless steel construction makes it easy to clean and not get the coffee taste in there forever. A work and camping essential for all those who live the van life. Or living life working on the road. From road trips to working all nighters.

Last thermos you’ll ever buy

I work in law enforcement and have the graveyard shift. I filled my bottle with a hot drink and it was almost boiling all night. Before the beginning of my next shift, I went to remake my drink but I figured I’d check to see if it was even warm at all. To my surprise and delight, it was still scorching hot. It held my drink hot for over 48 hours without refilling it. I love this bottle and it’s probably one of my favorite Xmas gifts I’ve ever gotten.

Best Thermo-bottle ever made

Keeps hot water warm for 24+ hrs. Way above the league of competitors I have tried before. The downside is that it is heavy, but the quality of the product really makes up for it. If only using backpack on longer hikes, I would reccommend to scale down on the bottle due to the weight. Can be brought to every setting, and is rugged enough to handle hard treatment. I would reccommend the product to everybody from an amateur to more experienced outdoorsmen.

Amazing thermos

I use this thermos almost daily for hot beverages. Its quality is unmatched as well as its performance. It does exactly what it needs to do; keeps my beverages hot for extended periods of time. I remember growing up and seeing my dad use his Stanley and now that I have my own I can see that the quality of these thermoses stand the test of time. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Great product, great price point, what more can you ask for?

Hot and Cold Bestie

I used this product primarily to bring cold brew coffee to the lake all summer - and it does such a wonderful job keeping things cold! I would often come home to ice still in the jug. I've used it a few times as well for hot coffee and it does just as great a job keeping hot coffee hot - it also fits such a great amount, we would often have multiple cups with 3+ people. Definitely my favorite on-the-go companion!

Never disappoints!

It keeps my smoothies cold or my coffee hot all day long. I recently left it in my car that was in direct sun when I was at the beach for 5 hours and my smoothie was still cold. During ski season, I enjoy hot coffee at lunch time. I constantly use and abuse this thing and it has never failed me. Highly recommend!

Well-Made Cold/Hot drink carrier

Stanley's insulation for this bottle is some of the best I've ever used. Used this during field exercises during my education at a forestry school in the Adirondacks to keep hot chocolate warm, and it was able to do so to the point where I had to leave it open to cool. I've had beverages like water stay cool for days, definitely useful for anyone looking for a nice, insulated bottle with high capacity.

You really can't beat a classic Stanley thermist. I have used this product throughout my 8 years in the army and it keeps my coffee hot all day long. It's a great, lightweight, insulated bottle for any outdoor enthusiasts!

Heirloom comfort

I have one of these that my grandfather used on hunting trips. He passed in 1996 and I recently inherited his thermos and it still works fantastically! It's almost 30 years old and still keeps me warm on cold winter days.
