The 3” shells shoot 1.5” groups at 100 with my 870, 20” fully rifled barrel, with a red dot. I zero mine dead on at 100 and it hits about 1” high at 50. This recovered bullet from a deer weighed 227 (33 grain loss is from the polymer tip) with good expansion. Shot was 55 yards, quartering away, high tree angle, on a big bodied CO deer. Bullet was in the hide in the dark side. Would definitely recommend this bullet for deer sized game.
