Currently my favorite glove on the range.

I have been using the OR Firemark sensor gloves and they have been among some of the best fitting gloves I have ever used, and definitely the easiest to put on. the comfort of these gloves makes it super comfortable in cold and hot weather. the straps a low profile so they do not randomly rub against gear in my kit and accidentally causing a random jettison of my gloves. and the knuckle protectors are soft but also provide great padding when I am working prone or on a VTAC barrier. if the Knuckle style gloves aren't for you give the OR Suppressor Sensor series a try, they are my favorite for an overlayer tactical glove.

great gloves

came here to buy another pair, only to find they aren't offered anymore. Amazing gloves, and use them just about everday for day to day stuff.

Durable, dexterous, and protective

I've fielded these gloves for almost 2 years now. During that time, I've jumped from aircraft, handled weapons, driven offroad missions, conducted mechanical repairs, and hauled cargo. These gloves have handled it all. The palm provides solid protection and a sense of grip friction. The fingers are capped in leather. They do pretty well in the cold, though the wind gets through the back of the hand. The large pull loop on each glove is solid.

Best gloves by far

These are the best gloves I've used. Great for breaching, FR so I don't have to worry about flash bangs or breaching tools melting them. They give a lot of dexterity and protection. Have no problems manipulating weapons either.

Initial Review

So I got these because when I sent my suppressor gloves in to be replaced, love that warranty by the way, they weren't in stock and I thought I might try something similar. Other reviewers said these were issued to them, as the suppressor gloves were issued to me, and they were the best gloves the reviewers ever had, or something along those lines. I'm going to be comparing these to the suppressor gloves, so bear with me and take it with a grain of salt. Much like the suppressors, they have loops on the wrists to stow on a hook or help with putting them on. The index finger and thumb, unlike the picture, are black to show you which ones work with touch screens. They work very well by the way. And the padded leather knuckles are a very nice touch. I would call these an upgrade to the suppressors with a couple minor caveats: one, they aren't as snug, and two, I haven't quite put them through the wringer yet. The second is why I called this an initial review and certainly no fault of OR, I like to punish these kinds of products because by their very "tactical" nature, they have to stand up to it. The suppressors were able to stand up to 1-2 years of hard use, depending on the field problems, and it was always on the left hand index and middle finger tips. I'll get back to you when I've found the limits on these. Now, gloves, like many other pieces of gear, depend on personal preference. How you use them, how well they work, it depends on how well they work for you. I honestly prefer the suppressors in this respect because they were tighter, like second-skin tight. They took some time to break-in and, I guess you could say, mold them to me. But once I did, I could wear them all day and not notice a thing. That isn't to say the firemarks aren't good, just not as tight. As a demonstration of their dexterity, I can open a can of beer with them fairly easily, a bit better than someone with a nail-biting problem picking up a dime. Another minor gripe, I'm not a fan of the palm. It doesn't stick close to my hand as the suppressors do, more of a comfort thing than anything. So if I had to pick one or the other, I'd have to go with the suppressors, as long as touch-screens aren't a concern of mine. But that's personal preference. It's a very good glove, padded in just the right places, compatible with more modern electronic tools, and you can open a can of beer with them. I'll update once I put a few more field problems on them.

Work-Truck of a glove

The gloves come slightly large. I ran mine under hot water while wearing them and working the palms and fingers. After drying, they fit my hands perfectly. Wonderful for shooting dexterity.

Overall really great flight glove

Not to much to say; fits really good. Although the thumb is a little long (I must have weird hands). The sensor works great with touch screen devices which I used for every flight. One thing I’d like to add, an additional sensor on the middle finger. I don’t use the thumb and forefinger to expand/zoom. And it’s slightly awkward. Still works great!!

The gloves work great and work well. My only issue is with the fit being a little big even for ordering the smallest size. These are very durable and I will be buying them again if they wear out
