Seems like an easy choice

Basic work-style glove for skiing. Full leather. Soaked up my leather waterproofing treatment after 15 minutes in the oven at 180F. Three outings so far and seem to shed wind well, not soak up much snow and dries fairly quickly for next day use. The pull/clip loops are something I really really like about OR gloves. When you are out for a tour, every time you stop is time away from the next run, so having loops to pull gloves on easier and have a way to clip them when not needed is essential! Time will tell on durability but these full leather gloves have lasted well in my previous experiences.

Well Made, Warm and Comfortable

Clearly well made and have been very warm in sub freezing temps this winter. The leather is buttery soft which would be my only slight criticism - the gloves are described as work gloves but just picking up some firewood chipped and scratched the leather pretty bad. Still love the gloves though.

Keep these in my truck as work gloves and after several months of use have held up pretty well and haven't cause any problems. They are simply a solid set of work gloves.

Quality construction, fairly dexterous. Surprisingly warm considering how thin the insulation is. Whatever the leather is treated with makes them very waterproof. Skied 2 days in the rain and the leather never saturated.

Amazing quality, soft leather

These gloves are very well made. Just as good using them to dig a hole in the cold or driving around a UTV when the windchill is an issue.

Warm and flexible

These gloves were great during the colder months. They do a great job in cold windy conditions conditions but are plyable enough that you don’t feel any loss in mobility. 10/10

Great gloves at a great price

I would give these five stars is there was an option with a cinching or Velcro cuff. I use them for winter chainsaw work and the would be perfect if I could keep the chips out.

Winter Work

My wife loves these for winter chores / feeding horses and goats. Keeps her hands warm and the gloves are durable. Easy on and off with pull straps. Easy to store with same straps and a clip so you don't loose them. Good for any expert with hard winters or beginner who wants their hands to stay warm. Outdoor Research makes a quality product at a reasonable price. I have a similar pair in men's and have also been very happy with them.

Great all around glove but sizing is off

Sizing is off in my opinion. I have multiple other OR snow gloves and they are all large so I ordered these in large. They were extremely tight compared to all my others that fit perfectly. I wore them for a few days to break them in and the fit got better but after 20 plus days of wearing them they are still on the tight side, which I believe contributed to the thumb stitch blowing out. Other than the fit they were an incredible all around glove for work around the house, snowmobiling, and backcountry ski days. Will be trying to get these replaced with an XL pair.

Work Gloves, holding up when throwing wood

Increased score. Not insulated, so must be working to keep warm. After break in are my favorite work gloves at cabin throwing wood, working the saw and chores. Buying more since I am working through them after days of labor.

nice warm leather work gloves

These leather gloves are nice and warm and do the trick but they don't have the best or most ergonomical fit. The thumb feels a bit restrictive but I still like the gloves a lot.

Keep coming back!

4th or 5th pair of these gloves! Obviously leather gloves eventually wear out. Though the leather isn't exactly as burley as a typical work glove, they are well insulated for Winter activities.

They've kept me plenty warm down to below zero temperatures as long as I keep moving. Been using them at the resort for snowboarding and they do a great job at keeping my hands dry and allow enough dexterity to not have to take them off all day.

Nice gloves

I deliver goods with a snowmobile in the winter for a back country lodge. We use climbing rope to tie down the loads. It's a tall order for a set of gloves to crank down and tie knots with wet, frozen rope 5 days out of the week. These didn't hold up to my daily routine but I don't think thats a negative to these gloves because I haven't found a pair that could yet. They look really nice and are warm.

Warm Durable Gloves

I bought these to use for snowmaking in 0-30 degree weather and they insulate incredibly well. My hand size is on the fence between L and XL and they were tight at first but as I worked them and added Sno-Seal ❄️ to them they stretched out and fit my hands perfectly. The black pull tabs make getting the gloves on a bit easier, however the design around the wrist makes it easy for snow to get inside without constantly checking to make sure your jacket is covering the gloves. Also with the discount OR is just competitively priced to KINCO gloves ($45) which I can get at Ace Hardware and have a better wrist design to keep snow out.

Excellent winter work gloves, I used them all winter as snow shovelling gloves and for spreading ice slicer. A little bit bulky at first and definitely took a couple days to break in, but they held up to the wet as well as ice salt. A bit on the warm side if you're doing anything active above about 20 degrees, but very nice down to -10 or so. Also note they don't breath at all, but with the wool liner it's not too bad.

surprisingly warm and versatile gloves

I have used these gloves to ski inbound down to -10C and never felt cold. I also used them to nordic ski on cold days, down to -25C, and have been nice and warm. The leather seemed to wet out rapidly in wet snow, but it is doing great after a nikwax treatment. They are very flexible, great dexterity. Nothing bad to say about these, love them!

Well made warm item!

These gloves worked great. For me, the only demerits come forward because of the cuff. It is a little longer than I was expecting. It is petty but the long leather cuff didn't mesh well with wearing a watch. Watch off these gloves would gain a point or two.

Great with some durability issue

Keep in mind, I have a sample size of one pair of gloves. But I have put these through the ringer. I bought these for elk hunting deep in the high country and they were excellent for that. Very warm and, after a break in period, very comfortable and compliant. I now use them for winter farm work and they've done well. I've noticed one small stich has popped on the right index finger and some of the leather is wearing through on the very tips of the finger. I would rate these 8 out of 10 in terms of durability. Definitely not the best but definitely passable for the price point. I would rate these 7 out of 10 for dexterity. Good luck picking up small objects. Their rigidity, even after break in, will leave your hands tired much quicker when doing tasks that require grasping objects. Bring a lighter pair for such tasks. I would rate these 9 out of 10 for warmth. Great gloves to give a try.

They run big!

I bought a large in these because they were listed as a female size, but turns out they are unisex, and way to big for me. My boyfriend loves them however, and says they are warm and comfortable for cold days of yard and trail work. I will be ordering again in a smaller size for myself.

Warm, functional gloves. Use these for practically everything I do outside once the weather drops to 20F (Elk and deer hunting, Skiing, Hiking, General outside work, etc.). I have thin, long fingers and these fit me better than most any leather glove I can find (size Large). Fit is similar to any other OR gloves. The only potential issue is I am a little concerned about durability. The leather is supple and comfortable, but I wonder if that may come with a trade off in durability. No issues yet, and I think with regular maintenance (cleaning, conditioning, etc.) they will continue to last. Love the loops at the bottom and the ability to slide these gloves on or off very quickly and easily. Highly recommend. Considering buying another pair or two just in case they ever decide to discontinue these.

Amazing Work Gloves

I live in the NEK of Vermont and I volunteer on a farm, and will use these for outdoor labor projects. I dunked my hands in a horse trough to get the ice chunks out and my hands stayed dry and warm. The gloves got wet, but I think they're just fine. Can you recommend a treatment oil for them so I can keep them working for me?

Works for everything but rain

This glove is so close to perfect it hurts. For everything you do below freezing temps, this glove will keep up. If you live in the PNW and like to play in the twin or slushy snow all day, this glove will wet out — even with a waterproofing treatment. This glove was perfect for ski patrol training as long as it stayed dry out, or stayed below freezing. A work glove you can work hard without worrying about the seams, stitching, or durability.

Great Gloves for Work at the Resort

Going to add snow seal to waterproof them. Note: I used the size chart and was on the higher end of Small. Ordered small size and I’m at the very end of the glove. If you have long fingers definitely size up.

great warm gloves

These are fantastic winter gloves. easy on and off & fit trim, but true to size. FYI I ordered a medium (my usual size) and it was marked with European sizing (size 8, also my usual size). Fingers are trim and you can work with ropes, carabiners, or keys with these. very much a midnight glove and perfect for touring or walking in the City in winter. I'll probably uses these as my winter gloves in the City, but also would tour uphill on cooler days. Would be a great winter work glove as well. I would tour with these more, but I generally prefer a more breathable glove & I would be concerned about the gloves wetting out a bit with all of the leather. Also, they look fantastic & the wool/fleece lining feels fantastic. highly recommended
