Fantastic shell layer for your hands

These mitts offer fantastic weather proofing and water proofing. I bought these for a family member who does a lot of ice fishing - they throw these on over their warm gloves/mitts when working with a fish or getting their hands wet to keep their hands (and nice pair of gloves) dry and clean. Note, that you ABSOLUTELY have to wear something under these to keep your hands warm - they offer very little warmth on their own.

Good outer layer for a fleece mitt

These mittens are great to combine with a fleece mitten or glove in sort of cold (just below freezing) temperatures. If you combine them with a fleece glove it's easy to pull them off for brief tasks requiring manual dexterity, then put them back on over the fleece glove for wind and moisture protection.

Perfect shell mitt for winter adventures

Great shell gloves

Bought these to put over my regular running gloves. They work great and work with about any other pair of gloves you might own. After warming up I can take them off and put in my pocket.
