Great
Great lightweight pants for the trail or the office. They look sharp enough to wear in a business casual setting and feel light when you're hiking.

I wore these daily for 10 months and they are awesome. They are cool even on the equator. They dry super fast are crazy comfortable and look sharp. An extra bonus is they require no special care and look great right out of the wash.
Fire and Rescue
These are comfortable, stretchy and look good. I love them. Fit is true to size, on the snug side I would say. The only thing I don't understand is why the elastic hem adjuster on the ankles has a "w" shaped plastic adjuster which is almost impossible to keep both cords in. It was honestly a relief when I finally lost it and just tied the cord in a knot.
Special Operations Forces
Really well made lightweight option for the price point. Draw strings in case the waist runs a little large. Only downside is if you run a Velcro inner belt the looks will begin to fray. Would recommend a little higher durability for the belt loop/waist line area.

The breathability of these pants on hot days as well as the durability I've gotten out of them over countless miles and much bushwacking is impressive. I would say that if you're walking through brush or grass in the rain or right after rain that you should be prepared to get wet, but the pants dry quickly thereafter.

What can I say except the comfort, pocket design, and style are all exceptional. Sizing was spot on, and they did the job well.
Fire and Rescue
Having tried many pants over the years, these have become my favorite. Very light, quick drying, comfy and flexible, yet surprisingly durable. Certainly not for cold weather, but beyond that they're ideal for me to wear under fire gear or during rope ops.

I really like how stretchy the pants are without looking like athletic wear. The zip pocket on the side feels very secure as do the hip pockets, but the hip pockets are a little harder to get in and out of. Overall very satisfied and fits true to size.

The size of these pants is actually your waist size in inches. If you have a 38" waist, get a size 38. A size 36 actually has a 36" waist. Most pants nowadays have glamour sizing. Size 36 Levi's usually have a 38-39" waist.

Pants are super durable flexible and comfortable. I use them climbing and hiking and just out on the town. Only downside is the back pockets are a little small.
U.S. Army - Military
Great pants for hiking and they pack very compact and dry fast. Durability is the only thing I see being an issue over time. Boot Gators help with that issue though.
Ski Instructors
Incredibly comfortable with excellent stretch and lightweight construction. Ideal for hiking and outdoor activities, yet stylish enough for everyday wear.

Didn’t have high hopes before I got them but that changed when I wore them. Pants are great for warmer or cooler days. Color is great and they seem like they can take some abuse. Will definitely get another pair.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.
NRA Instructors
I really like the fit and feel of these pants. They have worked well as a hiking pant as well as becoming my favorite go to pant for golf.
National Interscholastic Cycling Association
These are the best lightweight pants on the market in my opinion. I love the Ferrosi material. So light and stretchy it's incredibly comfortable. Being so light it's great in hotter weather. I'm a fair skinned redhead and sunburn way too easily to wear shorts in the summer. I'm a pants year round kind of guy and it's nice to have an option for something that can still keep me cooler in the hot weather but also provide sun protection and comfort.
Eagle Mount Billings
Use these mostly for Montana backpacking. Love that they offer a 34" inseam for those with longer legs. The ferrosi fabric is stretchy and lightweight keeping my legs protected from the sun and shrubs during long treks in the Montana backcountry. Love them!
USA Cycling
I’ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I’ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They’ve held up fine so far, but I’m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.
Fire and Rescue
These are great from climbing and hiking. They don’t restrict my mobility at all. The elastic drawstring at the bottom of the leg is super convenient.

Great, lightweight pants that are perfect for warm-weather, outdoor sports. Really enjoy them flyfishing either wet-wading or under waders with no bulk. Nice enough for office settings as well. I do notice that pilling on the fabric occurs after about three months of wear / washing.
Environmental Researchers & Field Scientists
These pants allow full range of motion, very breathable and light weight. The material is durable and doesn’t snag easily. Dries quickly if you do get them wet but fairly water resistant. The only negative I would say is the zipper and n the fly is lower quality. These pants are well worth their price point, and buyers of all skill levels would get great use out of them. I have had these for several months and I will be buying a few more pairs!

The Ferrosi Pants are super light, breathable, and unbelievably comfortable. Perfect for hiking or travel — they move with you and feel great all day.
U.S. Marines - Military
To start off, these have a drawstring on the inside, so of you don't like belts these are an option. They handle very well in downpours, I've tested it a few times. They are a bit tight around the quads, so be aware of that if you have large quads. The zippers function perfectly, and is something I absolutely love. They also pack down very well. Only complaint I have is that these did start having that pilling issue after a few months of use.

Excellent pant - hiked with them in the whites and they held up exceptionally well. The flexibility in the fabric, the breathability, and warmth made them an exceptional pant. Thankfully they’re at a fantastic price point for beginners or experts. Having hiked for close to 40 years, it’s tough to find a pant like these without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend you giving them a try. Enjoy the trails.

I recently went to a baseball game with coworkers. The forecast called for some drizzling, and so my partner and I decided to keep the outfits as "waterproof" as possible. These pants are so light and breathable, if I didn't feel it brush against my legs as I walked, it almost felt like nothing was there. Also, when some condensation from my cup fell onto my leg, I brushed it off the pants with no problem - the water beaded and brushed right off. I wish these had a bit more of a taper because I personally like the look and feel of a tapered pant leg. Other than that, though, these pants are perfection.
U.S. Army - Military
Wore these pants day after day on a 60 mile hike in Glacier National Park. They performed tremendously. Lightweight. Water resistant. Kept the brush off my legs and debris out of shoes. Room enough for quick access items in all pockets but extra front zip pocket was clutch. No need for belt either as drawstring stayed tied and tight all three days. Not too hot on first 88 degree day and stayed warm on morning of last day at 40 degrees. Will certainly be using on my next hiking adventure and highly recommend.

Great pants for travel. Super light weight and comfortable. I have never worn pants that feel this comfortable and look nice enough to still where out. First time wearing it felt clike I wasn’t wearing pants which was awesome. Definitely recommend. Waist size seems to run true to size, the draw string is nice so a belt is not needed. Pants do run long, I’m 6’2” and 32 inseam fit how a 34 usually would on me.
U.S. Army - Military
My absolute go to pants for outdoor, office and occasional night out. The material resists water and provides stretch when needed.
Fraternal Order of Police
These are great pants. I am 6' 1" and 33" waist. I got the 33x34 and they fit like a dream. Very flexible, lightweight, and very comfortable.
Fire and Rescue
Aren’t going to last long if you’re climbing in them a lot. But they are extremely comfortable and worth it. Nice light layer.

Great fit, lite weight and stretchy. Repels water and dries quick. The pant work great for the outdoors and look great in the office or out on the town

My favorite pair of light pants. Perfect for hot days where you want sun protection. Or a little more warmth on spring/fall days. Fabric is stretchy, so movement is free. Only downside is they get slightly fuzzy on high use areas(knees).
U.S. Army - Military
Great stretchy fabric for climbing, hiking, or just being outside in the heat. Breathable for hot days and fits true to size. Would not recommend if you needed protection from thick thorny brush in the woods. But excellent range of motion non restrictive pants for whatever you need to do in them.
Fire and Rescue
I have two pairs of Ferrosi pants, originally purchased for hiking and backpacking. But I find that on days I'm working outside in the yard, or I'm running errands these are now my go to pants. So comfortable, lightweight and are water resistant. I 100% recommend these pants to all my friends who don't already own them, you cannot go wrong.
U.S. Army - Military
These pants are very light, very comfortable, and for me are true to size. I have not yet hiked with them on but I have done several fishing trips with them and they are great. Walked through some calf high weeds that were wet. My legs stayed dry and the water rolled right off.
Law Enforcement
Lightweight and holdup well. Wore them on a few 3 day trips and they are very comfortable. Something about them I also noticed when I travel for work I am a minimalist and only take a carry-on backpack. Take these out of the bag all wrinkled up in a ball and hang them up for a while and the wrinkles go away on there own. These look good for enough for business casual and nights out and that feature keeps me from looking like a soup sandwich.

Perfect pants for a month long trip through Italy, France, and England. Easily handled the hot summer weather, kept pretty clean and were easy to clean in the hotel sinks. Snazzy enough for the cities and functional enough for the hiking.
Fire and Rescue
Favorite climbing pants I've used. Durable on all rock except a fall on sharp limestone (not sure anything works well on that). Breathable, quick dry, they do tend to smell after a week straight of climbing in warm temps but still worth it because they're comfortable. They can be a little chilly at night because they're breathable but throw on a base layer and you're good.
New Mexico Volunteers for the Outdoors
Almost feel like super lightweight pajamas while hiking. I've tried numerous hiking pants and there is no better option for warmer weather hiking. Now keep in mind that with this lightweight there is a tradeoff with durability, however unless you are doing some serious work in the woods these are good.
The American Alpine Club Members
Massive improvement over previous designs. 5’8” 175lbs and a 33x30 fits well, if snug, around my (slightly bulging) waist. These are a lot like the discontinued crag pants, with a single side pocket, stretchy, breathable material, and an ankle cinch. However, these are more durable, and fit a more diverse set of activities. I wear these for everything: work, hiking, climbing, travel, going out, and lounging. They look good, feel great, and hold up to a hell of a lot of abuse in the mountains. After a week with my first pair, I bought 4 more. My go-to pants now.
U.S. Coast Guard - Military
Lightweight long pants for hiking and general outdoor activities. Repels water to a degree. Great for warm to mid temperature weather.
Fire and Rescue
Awesome pant for warm weather adventures. I use these primarily for backpacking in July/Aug and for early season hunts in Sept. They are soft, quite and breathable. Excellent all around lightweight pant. Due to their lightweight they are not going to be as durable as a heavier pant but that is a trade off for warm weather performance. Highly recommend! Sizing is pretty good I usually wear a 32 to 34 and went with a 33 waist in these for a perfect fit.
National Strength and Conditioning Association
I would highly recommend these pants for almost any 3-season outdoor activity. They are very comfortable, lightweight and stretchy. Perfect for hiking and even wearing around town.
U.S. Marines - Military
I usually wear a 34 waist but wanted to go up a size to carry a CCW better. I ordered these in 35 and they are the same size in the waist as my other 34 pants. I will definitely order another pair in the size up.

Great pants. Lightweight, no piling, and hold their color. I save a couple pairs to wear at work, and have one beater pair that I use hiking and wet-wading.

I’ve had worn these pants hiking, biking, and working day to day. They are very lightweight but in some situations I would prefer something a little bit thicker. The pull strings in the cuffs never really worked, but I would just use safety pins in situations that required it.
U.S. Air Force - Military
get them and they wont disappoint. They are an excellent all purpose pant, cool, wicking, and stylish from the trail to a date night.
Dick's Sporting Goods Retail Employees
I use these for field work as well as camping and hiking. They withstood a big piece of flaming wood popping out of a campfire and landing on my thigh (burned my skin, didn't damage the pants...).
I managed to put a hole in one of the pockets when it pinched between an abrasive rock face and the knife in the pocket, but other than that these seem incredibly durable for how thin the material is.
They manage to both keep me cool enough and warm enough at the same time, as well as drying quickly.
I treated mine with Permethrin, and so far despite crashing through swamps all summer have not had any ticks, so plus one for that as well.
I'd highly HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who works in environmental research or is serious about spending a lot of time camping and hiking.
U.S. Navy - Military
These pants are fantastic. They are light and breathable to help endure warmer temps but provide enough coverage to keep you warm in cooler temperatures. Not cold weather pants but perfect for fall or spring. The water resistance is just enough to keep you dry. Very impressive pants to meet many needs. No issues with sizing or length.

I thought the first pants that I got to be so good.....that I brought a second. They are rugged, pack light, and dry quickly. Also very good fit.

I recently purchased the Ferrosi Pants, and I couldn't be happier with them! They are incredibly light and stretchy, making them perfect for both outdoor adventures and casual wear. I love how comfortable they feel, allowing for easy movement in any activity. One of the standout features is the four front pockets. They're thoughtfully designed with zipper closures, making it super convenient to carry bulky items securely without worrying about them falling out. This practical storage solution adds to the overall functionality of the pants.
U.S. Army - Military
The pants are super light weight and breathable. Lots of pocket space and are super high quality. I love how I’m able to cuff the bottom of the pants. Also the draw string is awesome as I don’t have to wear a belt as well. Definitely buy these.

Super comfortable pant for the casual spring/summer nights and even during the hot days of summer. Glad they are offered in a 34” inseam for tall guys (I’m 6’3”). Already bought the same pant in another colour. Wish all the colours were in 34” inseam. Great pockets to hold keys, cell phone, wallet etc. Would easily recommend the pants to anyone who asked.
U.S. Army - Military
I bought these for competitive shooting events during the summer in GA, love the lightweight fabric and breathability. Only gripe is that they seem to run long. I bought 32” inseam, which is typical for me, but they are too long. I will be buying a set of 30” as they seem to be a great product so far.
Special Operations Forces
I wore these for 5 days straight getting to the highest summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro at 19k plus FT. Zero complaints! Super breathable but enough to keep me warm most days. They were flawless in every environment that I put them in. The fabric handles moisture extremely well and dried out easily overnight in my sleeping bag. That was the cycle and they never let me down!
Law Enforcement
I love these pants for any type of warm weather or need to stay cool but cover up. Not meant for heavy work, but great for hiking, fishing, yard work, tactical application.
Sports and Physical Therapists
Comfortable and lightweight. Loose around the ankles to allow for boots/high top shoes if needed. I wear them for work, biking, and walking/hiking

This pant has it all except knee pads. I'm getting. Other colors. Well built strong material cleans easy and wears for just about every event you can think of.

If I were a cartoon character, these would be my cartoon pants. I wear them all the time! They are thin and stretchy but not to the point that every catches on them and frustrating. They maintain their shape and still allow for a ton of range of motion, never feeling restricted. They also stay clean really well even when climbing, playing with dogs, or rolling around in dirt. They just never look, OR SMELL, dirty! Its amazing. They also don't hold wrinkles at all. I'm super stoked about they pants and know I can always throw them on for any occasion. When it is hot, they stay cool really well. When hiking and sweating, they don't seem to retain moisture. Combine them with some wool underwear and you're good to hike all week! After a year of heavy use, these things don't show any sign of wear whatsoever. I've been trying to find excuses to buy another pair, but I just don't need any other pants when I have these.

These pants exceeded my expectations. They are very lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and surprisingly comfortable. The inner waist ties are a bit goofy since they have belt loops, but overall, I really enjoy them on and off the trail. They are definitely on the lighter side, though, and seem like more of a fair weather pant if you aren't planning on running heavier base layers underneath. Highly recommended though, and quickly becoming my favorite hiking pants.
U.S. Navy - Military
Super lightweight and surprisingly tough. Climb in them often and they did a backpacking trip very well. I wear them around town more than I should.

These pants are pretty nice. However, I ordered 2 pairs both have major problems with the fly. It barley zips to the top and comes down every couple of hours. Also compared to the previous version of ferrosi pant it is much more tapered through the legs. I personally prefer the more relaxed fit of previous years. Other colleagues who own pairs don’t have any zipper problems, and neither do the ferrosi shorts I have.
U.S. Army - Military
These pants are great. I work outside as a land surveyor and these pants are the right blend of durability and light weight. Exactly what I’m looking for as the weather warms up. They are a little longer than anticipated and will go with the 30” inseam over the 32” next time (i’m 5’11”)

Used them to summit Mt. Whitney. They were breathable and light but seemed warm early in the morning when we started before dawn. Would buy again if looking for hiking pants.
U.S. Air Force - Military
This is the first pant that truly fits me. This is an initial review and I only have about 8-9 hiking miles on them at this point. I will update at first sign of wear. They are so far good at the DWR feature and I brushed up against lots of wet foliage and it still held its own with no internal wetness. However, as soon as that was coupled with a downpour, I was soaked, but that’s to be expected. They dried very fast after ~25 mins to dry completely while wearing. That’s thanks to the nylon construction. I’ve had many nylon-built gear but nothing as comfortable as this.
National Association for Search & Rescue
I bought these because I liked the zip-off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip-offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip-off, these have the built-in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they're just so comfortable.

Great pants, tried on several pants and these ones fit me the best. I got a big bottom and thighs and these fit me well, not to tight like skinny jeans more of a relax fit. Material is soft and moisture wicking. Definitely recommend!

I’ve used these on several long hikes is varying climates and they have always been comfortable and held up well. I wore them climbing half dome and they were comfortable for 17 miles that day. They also look good enough that I’ve worn them going out for dinner and occasionally to work. When paired with rain pants they are even good for snow shoeing through deep powder. Great stretch, great pockets, will absolutely order again.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I’ve only worn these a few times, so I can’t comment on durability. However, the fit on these for me is perfect. The material is light and flexible.

These are one of my favorite pant to wear whether I’m fishing, hiking or at the office. These pair well with the Astroman shirts for a nice lightweight, keep you cool when it’s hot, outfit that can be worn almost anywhere.

These pants can do it all. The material is super light and very comfortable. They dry incredibly fast. I have used them for hikes and they have become my go to. My son borrowed them for golf and loved them. They look good enough to pull that off.
The Mountaineers Volunteers/Staff
Great fit while still allowing for great mobility. It kept me comfortable in both hot (80-90F) and cool (40-50F) weather. Slight water resistance is a huge plus. I also like the shorter inseam options. Great for hikes and climbs with variable conditions. I haven't tried it yet but I wouldn't hesitate to use it in snowy alpine travel.

These pants are lightweight, comfortable, and durable. They are great for the trail, or the terminal. They’re lightweight and great three season pants, extremely packable. The fit and function are good as well. Water resistant and cuts the wind, you can’t go wrong with these pants for most situations. Grab a pair for yourself.
