Most comfortable and usable shorts I own. I had a pair of tan ones I love so much I bought a blue pair. Even got the long pants to match. They are very comfortable, fit great, very durable and dry quick.

I wore these daily for 10 months and they are awesome. They are cool even on the equator. They dry super fast are crazy comfortable and look sharp. An extra bonus is they require no special care and look great right out of the wash.

These shorts are lightweight, breathable, flexible, and comfy. I have worn them around town, hiked many miles, and even swam in them. They have done a great job on all accounts. So far I have not found anything wrong with the shorts and would wholeheartedly recommend them to others.

Perfect fit, not too short and not too long. Drawstring is handy if you don't have a belt and the pockets get weighed down. Side pocket a good size to securely fit phones, wallets, etc. Great for hiking, every day wear, and impromptu swim suit.

I finally ripped a hole in my favorite pair of North Face shorts I had owned for 5-6 years and needed a replacement. These shorts are very comfortable and were just what I was looking for. I would buy another pair, but I wish there were more color options. Overall, I love these shorts so far and I hope they will last.

Love these as a lightweight summer short. I have a couple pairs in different colors that I rotate through. Really like the drawstring waistband and not having to deal with a belt. The ferrosi fabric is lightweight and durable. They look great too!

They gave the Ferrosi's an adjustable waist draw chord so you don't have to wear a belt. Excellent shorts, high quality, nice fit, and feel.

Awesome pair of shorts, I've actually picked up 3 additional pairs. They are lightweight and comfortable and they dry quickly. After wearing these for several summers now I am also impressed at how durable they are. These fit true to size.

Great shorts, length is nice and doesn’t impede movement, lightweight and comfortable. They have been great for hiking and traveling in. They have held up very well with all the use. Sizing was true to size. I recommend these for anyone that wants/needs a durable but lightweight/breathable shorts for everyday wear or anything outdoor.

Excellent shorts for hiking, trekking, or similar endeavours. These have been my favourite pair of shorts since I got them a few months ago. DWR coating works nicely and I have used them on float trips as well since they dry quickly. Shorts run true to size. Highly recommend them!

This is my second pair of these, in a different color. The fit is perfect, they are comfortable and most importantly dry quickly. And they look great on the trail or at dinner.

Shorts are very flexible to provide maximum comfort. They are extremely water proof. What I like most is they are versatile. I wear them for hiking and walking, but they are also great on the golf course. The only thing I would change is to eliminate the drawstring, which I never use.

These shorts are very comfortable to wear. The fabric is light weight yet feels durable. Some stretch in the fabric allows the shorts to move through a variety of activities. They compress nicely for packing.

I’ve had these shorts for 8 years. They are my go to outdoors shorts. Lightweight, super comfortable, and allow airflow. Must have.
Ski Instructors
These shorts are light but the material is tough. They fit securely around the waist and hips but are loose around the legs for easy movement and good ventilation. The side pockets are deep enough for a wallet or phone and provide easy access. There are two back pockets one with a zipper and a zipper on the thigh pocket. The wide belt loops can take a wider than average belt. The only thing I would change is the length of the fly zipper. It is a bit short.
Canadian Air Force
You get what you pay for with Outdoor Research. These are now the best shorts I've owned. Size and fit is perfect. Nice and light and stretchy in the right spots, will be perfect to have these on hand for warm summers. The only negative that I have found is with the zipper pocket on the right thigh area: if you have keys in your pocket, the zipper handle pokes out and catches on my hand as I am walking. But that's not serious enough to warrant a -1 star. I will be buying more of these shorts in the future.

I wear these all summer long, great on the river. They dry quickly and are not saggy/heavy when wet. They have great products and the drawstring works flawlessly. I also wear them as shorts when I'm not on the water.

Comfortable shorts that breath well and have plenty of movement. I'm 6'1" and 220 lbs They fit well, but are tight in the middle waist area; I attribute this to my bubble butt.

For years used cut off BDU shorts. Picked up a pair OR shorts love them! I used them everyday in AK weather hiking and biking. Pockets were enough for ID etc.

Don’t believe some of the reviews. I’m 5’10”, 165lbs, athletic body, 33” waist. Rarely do shorts fit this well. I measured the inside waist - 33.5”. Additionally, I was concerned about the internal draw cord but decided worst case I’d remove it; however, it truly works and is not the least noticeable. Generally I need a belt but these stay up even with a wallet, phone and beer in the pockets.

The Ferrosi Shorts are definitely comfortable like other clothing I have purchased from Outdoor Research. But I am used to wearing shorts and pants that have cargo pockets on both legs. These shorts come with one cargo pocket on the right leg and two pockets on the seat (one with a zipper). I don't like to sit on my wallet or cellphone, so having a second cargo pocket would have been nice. But overall they are very comfortable.
