This is my favorite shirt of all time. Ponytail-hole in the hood is perfect and I wear this shirt for hikes, cycling, walking, and just daily.

So comfortable and light! I have many sun hoodies from different brands. This is my lightest. The hood doesn’t have a cinch but it works in windy environments because it’s close fitting. I have this one in multiple colors. Can’t go wrong.

I used this item for kayaking/SUP/ anything in the sun. I was out in the sun for as long as 4 hours and did not get a sunburn. It’s light weight, breathable and quick to dry. It packs down nicely, and is easy to wash. I can take or leave the ponytail opening feature on the hood because I don’t style my hair that way- but if you’re someone who wears a hat with a pony tail, I could see it being useful!

These are fantastic Sun shirts! I use them all over the US, but primarily Colorado and Tennessee - very different climates! I pull these out for everything from mowing the lawn to uphilling to hiking. They’re my go-to over my other Sun shirts because they’re so light. I run warm and rarely wear long sleeves in summer otherwise, but these give me a light base that I can layer over if I need to (e.g. in winter). I originally bought two of these. I love them so much, I just got three more. Will be taking them as my daily shirt for trekking in Nepal in November.

I bought this item at the beginning of the summer as I was primarily working outside. It is super breathable and was comfortable in 85+ degree humid weather. I found that it provided some protection from bugs (but not amazing if that's what you're looking for), but it is provided great sun protection. My only complaint is that it snags and pills extremely easily, so I have some concerns about long term durability, but overall this is a great product.

This is my wife's favorite running top. The material is breathable and has sun protection. The hood kept her warm on cold mornings. The long sleeves easily roll up when needed. She liked it so much she ordered a second hoodie.

Great hoodie for long hours in the sun, very lightweight and breathable and can be worn even on the hottest days. I liked the holes on the sleeves to lock your fingers, I work 8-10 hour days under the sun and do outdoor sports as well and when I wear gloves I want to make sure my sleeves don't ride up and expose my wrists for no reason. Product fits true to size.

I now have 3 of these and I wear them constantly for backpacking, biking, and running. They’re SUPER lightweight so you can actually wear them on hot days. They are only spf 15, but wayyy better than an spf50 shirt you overheat in and have to take off! It’s a bit fragile (catches on things) and thus won’t last forever, but I love it anyways!

I use this for doing trailwork. I get dirty, sweaty, lots of sun. this is my favorite sun hoody by far. The material is light and does quickly without feeling gross while it's wet. the hood stays on in windy conditions yet i can still wear a ball cap underneath if I want to. my coworker says the neck is a little small when the good isn't up but I have never noticed it. light material, so not the most durable but ill keep buying them because of the comfort and fit.

I have not put this hoodie down since I purchased it! Seriously one of my favorite pieces in my closet for the summer. Super lightweight and loose enough for air to flow through, keeping you cool. Although it offers great airflow, it can feel a bit warm in very humid conditions—but it's still comfortable enough to wear without much discomfort. Love the added benefit of the UPF 20 to keep me protected from the sun. If you're curious about this— just get it, you won't be disappointed!

This sun hoodie is perfect for providing sun protection without trapping too much heat or sweat during summer activities in the mountains. Note that the specs describe darker colors as SPF 20 and lighter colors as SPF 15. I bring this backpacking as an extra layer with a minimal weight penalty.

One of the best layers for summer or winter. I use it when I mountain bike to protect against the sun and bugs, and use it in the winter as an extra layer during ski days. I love the hood too to protect my neck! Highly recommend this layer for anyone looking for a versatile layer.

I love the lightweight fabric, which dries quickly AND provides sun protection. I also really like that it has a hood, which isn't too hot even on hot. sunny days. It's been great to have built-in sun protection in this top. I usually wear it by itself, but it's boxy enough to wear a base layer under it too. The different colors are nice too - wish they would offer more patterns. Note the hoodie does have a ponytail hole in the hood, which some might like, but sometimes I don't use it to protect my hair from the sun. The hoodie also has thumbs holes.

I have bought three sunshirts from three different brands, and this is the only one that allows room for my biceps. While I do work out, I don't have huge upper arms, but other brands of women's cuts cling to my biceps. This one doesn't! There's no qualifying expert here - if you have a need, buy it! I moved to the southeast where the sun is so much more intense than where I previously lived. These sun shirts are a great way to have sun protection while you're sweating rather than rubbing in more sun screen. Not that sunscreen is toxic - it's just gross to rub in while you're sweating. So comfortable! It's lightweight and cool. Will see how the fabric holds up, but so far I've used it in some pretty dirty/ wet situations and it's been perfect and dried quickly! I did snag it on my PFD's Velcro so it has a couple pulls, but for the comfort level...I'm fine with that.
