Wear daily as a lifty and while freeriding, and the gloves hold up extremely well to rigors of tool use and general wear. Have waterproofed them only once in 3 months and my hands have stayed warm and dry. Cuff is a little tight, but that does ensure a nice snug fit once they are on.

Great Gloves!

These gloves kept my hands warm as I was cross country skiing with active snowfall. My finger tips were a bit cold after a while, but I couldn't tell if it was because I kept having to take my glove off to text (snow was all over my phone screen) and expose my hands, or if the gloves weren't doing their job. I'm thinking the former, and I'm happy for the value I paid for these sturdy skiing gloves. The touch-screen compatible finger and thumb are way too bulky to be effective, so don't expect to be multitasking with these on. I didn't love the grittiness of the leather waterproofing balm provided, but it seemed to do the trick. All in all, I'm excited to keep using these bad boys in cold weather!

Warm, sturdy, comfortable

Expert Recommendation Content I was a little skeptical at first because I couldn’t find these in a store near me to see them in person. As always, Outdoor Research delivered a phenomenal product. The seemed a little stiff at first but broke in great after skiing a couple days. They are warm and comfortable without excessive bulk. I love that the included leash seems much sturdier than other brands and is unlikely to fail. I was comfortable on cold lift rides during 10-15 F weather with high east coast winds without liners. For info, I am normally size 12/13 in other popular leather gloves and bought XL. They have plenty of room for my hands and liners. The cuff is a little snug getting over a large garmin watch if you wear one.

Super Warm

Crazy warm gloves, but don't overheat. I've used them skiing as well as shoveling my driveway during early morning dumps. Velcro Closure and elastic leashes were great, but I did have some constriction on my right pinky. Overall, if you want to go hard on a deep winter powder day, but don't want to feel like you're wearing oven mitts, these are a great option.

These are excellent

I used these this past weekend in West Virginia where the temps were getting warm enough to melt the snow during the day, but dropping at night. These gloves kept my hands warm, and also completely dry, even with really wet conditions. They were actually almost too warm for the conditions.

Great gloves! once they're on...

These gloves perform incredibly well, but they are difficult to get on, as the liner likes to shift around and pull out of the respective finger holes. Once on, they're dry, and insanely warm. Great deep day glove

Best Gloves Ever

The gloves are amazing balancing the durability of leather and the performance of gortex. The gloves can be a little stiff but after a day of use they feel start to feel like a second skin. The details are really what makes this glove so great. The pull loop combined with the velcro cuff is a amazing mix that lets you put both gloves on in a matter of seconds. The gloves are plenty warm for just about anything, I've used them down to below zero with wind chill with just a liner and my hands were as toasty as ever. I've yet to have a issue with the palm leather wetting out. The only issue I've had is that velco on the cuff can cause the material around it to fuzz up a little bit but it's barley notice able and is only a visual problem. Overall I'd recommend these gloves for anyone who is looking for a great ski glove for the slopes, and beyond.
