Surprisingly comfy. Super lightweight. I pair it with a foam pad that I am already using for insulation. Turns glassing countryside into nap time. Can't speak for its durability just yet. I wouldn't trade it for a traditional camp chair if that is what you're after.

Lightweight Back Support

Although it is a great product that appeals to the minimalist, it has no padding for your third point of contact. This product is a lightweight back support that will keep your butt off the ground. Do not expect it to be comfortable but it works as advertised and exactly how it looks in the picture. It is truly light and folds up like a small satchel. Great idea but could be improved in the future.

Good for what it is - with a bit of a learning curve

This is a very simple simple but efficient design for a field chair. It requires trekking poles which most folks should be using anyway. As long as you can get the trekking poles inserted into the ground properly, you should be good to go with using the chair. I have added a Z seat for a cushion to the chair. I roll it all up and stick it in my pack and deploy it when I’m ready to sit down. It’s important to understand that it is simply a piece of material with inserts for trekking poles to act as a chair frame. I’ve used mine several times and I’m really happy with it. Again it is a very simple design but if you take the time to understand and learn it I think you’ll be pleased with this chair. It’s very lightweight and pack down small

No nonskid on the bottom! Stop everything...if you can

This is a good piece of gear, really. I'd buy another one. I've used it a few times backpacking and I'll probably continue to take it. It's light enough and stores flat in the bottom of my pack. You won't even know it's there. My next lightest chair is the Big Agnes Skyline UL but it's well over a pound and a half and takes a considerable amount of space. This is a nice trade off all this considered, especially if you already use hiking poles. It's a little awkward to get into and out of but once you're in it, ohhh buddy, that's good sittin'. I put mine in a shortened thermorest. It's the difference between ohh and ahh, trust me, I know. My only complaint is if you truly relax, really get in there, legs sprawled out and everything, there a good chance that you'll start sliding forward in the chair. The fabric is just too slippery. There's a sewn in pocket that the chair folds into for storage that ends up at the bottom of the chair once everything is set up. I thought about putting a shirt in that pocket to create a speed bump to stop my slide but never got around to it. I think it'll work. Just a thought for yous guys. Let me know if you try it!
