No nonskid on the bottom! Stop everything...if you can
This is a good piece of gear, really. I'd buy another one. I've used it a few times backpacking and I'll probably continue to take it. It's light enough and stores flat in the bottom of my pack. You won't even know it's there. My next lightest chair is the Big Agnes Skyline UL but it's well over a pound and a half and takes a considerable amount of space. This is a nice trade off all this considered, especially if you already use hiking poles. It's a little awkward to get into and out of but once you're in it, ohhh buddy, that's good sittin'. I put mine in a shortened thermorest. It's the difference between ohh and ahh, trust me, I know.
My only complaint is if you truly relax, really get in there, legs sprawled out and everything, there a good chance that you'll start sliding forward in the chair. The fabric is just too slippery. There's a sewn in pocket that the chair folds into for storage that ends up at the bottom of the chair once everything is set up. I thought about putting a shirt in that pocket to create a speed bump to stop my slide but never got around to it. I think it'll work. Just a thought for yous guys. Let me know if you try it!
