2nd Wyoming Tent

This is my second Wyoming Tent, the UL being the first that's lasted nearly 10 years and has longer to go, but really wanted this one for the slightly taller height, exit doors on both sides of the sleeping quarters and the two doors in the vestibule. I use this for casual car camping and Scout campouts and it's perfect for one person. It would be a little tight with the wife in there but certainly liveable especially with the two exits and all the room in the vestibule. Construction is excellent and I expect to build many years of memories with this tent keeping me dry.

So very versatile!

I was excited when Big Agnes brought this tent back with the newly designed and improved rain fly. I have the 2016 version of this tent and when weight is not an issue this is my go to tent. So versatile and fellow backpackers / campers always comes by and admires the room and fantastic design. Anyone can set this tent up in just a few minutes. I do recommend getting the footprint to help protect the tent.

A perfect festival tent

It's too big and heavy for any non-car-camping scenario. We used it as a base-camp at a music festival though and it couldn't have been a better solution. It has tons of vestibule space that we turned into a "living room" for privacy and shade. I'm 5'10" and could pretty much stand up straight in the vestibule. We had room for two chairs a table and an ice-chest without feeling cramped at all. We also used the large vestibule doors as tarps, guying them out for added shade area and air-flow. The only negative would be that the vestibule only opens on two sides (front and right if looking out from sleeping area) it would be nice if all three sides could open.

Disclaimer, I have the UL version of this tent

Having the UL version of this tent I have thoroughly enjoyed it, it's my favorite tent, as long as it's not on my back hiking in some where. Which honestly even carrying it in, would be worth it for the right trip. Since I don't think they make the UL anymore, I am looking to add this one when it comes back into stock because the enclosed front room is invaluable for comfort camping if there's any kind of bad weather outside. During many Scout campouts, while others have had to hover in their tents during rain, I've been able to sit in a chair and read, do hobbies or have others over that appreciate the room. This is a great concept tent and even better execution.

Best tent ever

Expert Recommendation Content This tent is our dream tent. It has an incredible vestibule you can stand up in, climbing into the sleeping portion does not require crawling in on your hands and knees and had plenty of room for our dog also. It is truly everything we have always wanted in a tent especially in the rain. The tent kept us completely dry in a down pour, and gear dry also. The vestibule was a great place to hang out in while it was raining. Although the tent is a bit heavy for backpacking, it is great for our boat trips, side by side trips, and bike packing with our trailer. Absolutely love this tent.

Great Tent

The Wyoming Trail 2 Tent is a fantastic tent. I particularly appreciate the extended vestibule, which allows me to standup (I am 5'11") and store gear out of the elements. My only minor concern is how heavy a snow load the tent can handle, although I realize the Wyoming Trail 2 is not desgned for heavy duty winter camping. For what I need the tent to do it does wonderfully. I was recommend the ground cloth. All and all one of the best tents I have ever used.
