Great puffy, reasonably priced, amazing company

Im a big fan of all things Big Agnes. Their customer service and warranty program alone is worth buying their products. This jacket is comparable to my higher priced jackets (eg; patagonia, arcteryx, black diamond, etc). Big fan of the color as well, since it is my primary insulated hunting jacket.

I’ve had this jacket for a few months but used it winter hiking in the Carpathians and it was almost too warm! It packs down well and is great for outdoor hiking use and also for walking around town on windy days (it blocks the wind surprisingly well). Can’t wait to try it at higher altitudes.

The most wonderful jacket

The vertical seams allow one to move more naturally. I wear this 3 seasons a year. The gentle puffiness of the down and tailoring allow for a nested cozy feeling. It is quite warm, but on most I layer it with another lightweight down. if I am on the mountain. The fit is super flattering and the color combination is lovely. (Royal Blue with teal lining). The outer fabric has a light crisp hand and the lining is more of a sateen finish. Awesome pockets too. I would like a skirt and knickers to match Thank you BA!

super warm so far

I've camped in the mid 30s with this jacket so far and have stayed super warm with only a fleece layer underneath! I also really enjoy the fit and the hood. It fits nicely under a rain jacket and looks good enough to wear around town as a casual jacket too.

I have two of this coat. Red and black. Love it! I don’t overheat but it’s as if I’m in a different climate when I out it on in the winter. Packs small and fits well.

First wear at zero degrees

I love this jacket. Longer in the back, flattering fit, thumb holes, and a hood with cinches. I did find that my breath with the hood cinched made the collar wet. I will try some adjustments next time out to remedy the wet collar.

I'm a petite woman and it's very hard to fine a reputable company that sells XS size that are really are for petite woman.I'm 5'2 and I feel this jacket was design for me hehehe, love the thumb holes ,lots of pocket and plus chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack....I love so much that I have to buy one for my husband during a friends and family deal, my husband LOVES it

So happy with this coat

I am so glad I scooped up this coat, I love the color and the fit, and it is sooo warm. Plus it packs easy. My coworker bought it one day after I got it because I couldn't stop talking about it!

Spare jacket became my main jacket!

I bought this jacket to have as a spare in my backpack for backcountry ski tours but it immediately became my everything jacket! I have other Big Agnes downtek jackets but this is easily my favorite. I love the length (covers my rear-end) and the simple elastic at the sleeve cuff makes it easy to wear without gloves and use the thumb holes, or if I am wearing heavy gloves I can tuck the sleeve inside the glove (because the sleeves don't have bulky cuffs) OR if I am wearing light liner gloves the elastic at the cuff stretches over the glove. So simple and so perfect! Big Agnes really nailed the design on this coat.

Big Agnes is local to us, we bought these for our employees last year 2022 as an end of year gift and they are loving them. Super Warm! They also seem to be higher quality, with more loft than prior years models.

Excellent fit and perfect temperature

This jacket looks and feels good. I use it for everyday wear in Colorado. I bought this one for my daughter and she loves it.
