Perfect sleeping bag

This was a much needed upgrade. I find myself camping in high elevation all the time, mainly in the summer and needed something that would keep me warm enough but not too warm. Temperature in this bag is perfect. Keeps me warm but still with enough room to move a bit. I have never been a fan of the tight mummy bags but this provides just enough space for comfort. Definitely would recommend this for car camping, backpacking, or tent camping.

exactily what I needed

It is my 2nd BA bag. the last was a little too warm weather for my last trip. used it for a week straight in a remote cabin in AK earlier this month. Second zipper at the feet was nice for the warmer evenings.

Great quality

Remains compact and performs well in cold weather. No compression sack so Youre ok your own with that. Definitely recommend compression sack to get this bag even more compact when backpacking.

Anthracite 20

I bought both the men’s and women’s Big Agnes Anthracite 20°F sleeping bags, and they’ve been excellent for three-season camping. The lining is soft and comfortable, not slick like some synthetic bags, and the FireLine Pro Eco insulation keeps warmth even around freezing temps. I’ve found the men’s bag comfortable into the high 20s, and the women’s version—with extra insulation in the hood and footbox works great for anyone who runs cold. The design details really stand out: the draft collar, cinchable hood, and smooth zippers make the bag feel more premium than its price tag suggests. You can also zip them together for a roomy double setup, which pairs perfectly with a double pad. They are a bit bulky and heavier than ultralight down options, but that’s expected with synthetic bags. Overall, the Anthracite 20°F is a warm, durable, and budget friendly choice for reliable comfort outdoors.

Warm and tight

Kept me nice and warm in the Uintas on a summer night. I loved the non-snag zipper and it worked well. I did notice it was a little tight for me as I am an avid side sleeper. Personally I wish it was a little more roomy, but I was able to make it work. All in all I could tell it was very well made and high quality. I will definitely be shopping with Big Agnes in the future for my camping needs.

On the heavier side but kept me warm

On the heavier side , but easy to pack and stow. This kept me warm in 20-30 degree weather pretty well. The zipper was easy to manage as well.

Great quality, incredibly light weight, and fits well; 6'2' 215. Nice attention to detail in its construction. I have a trip planned later this month.

Snug in ~some~ of the right places.

Took this bag out for a test on a 30F night. Pros: great warmth, adequate lower body space. Cons: Too tight in the shoulders, difficult to zip. Packs large. Was very warm in thin pants + wool socks, even had to remove socks. Bulkier than expected, good for truck camping but not backpacking. Tight into the shoulders, not sure I could have worn a sweater or anything bulky and fit. Need to be purposeful with the zipper in general as it liked to get caught. Overall adequate, a good bag but wouldn't consider at full price.

Slept like the dead.

It throughly assisted me in getting the sleep I needed in a mid-December deer hunt. I was able to get the rest I needed while tent camping in 25 degree weather.

Very good synthetic bag. If temperatures get close to 20 degrees make sure you use socks and merino wool tops and bottoms plus a fleece hat to ensure comfort.

I have only had a two night trip so far with this bag, but so far it has been great. I am a side sleeper and the bag was roomy enough for me to be able to switch sides really easily. I ordered the long at 6’2” around 180 lbs. My only complaint is that the bag is pretty bulky, but that’s the nature of a synthetic fill.

Good lightweight synthetic bag

This bag served well on a Tat/Alsek river rafting trip. Felt the need for a synthetic bag, saw some rain, temps in the low thirties at night. It's pretty snug, but that keeps it light.
