Amazing car camping pad

I really love this camping pad. It has performed perfectly in both warm and cool weather. The self-inflating feature works well, though it does take a little while. I usually use a mini pump to speed up both inflation and deflation, which makes the process much easier. In terms of comfort, this is the closest thing I’ve found to a normal bed while camping. It provides excellent support and makes sleeping outdoors a much more restful experience. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort and reliability.

Best camping solution

I've tried multiple sleeping solutions for camping, from pads to cots. Finally decided to try this out and I got a great nights sleep. No more hurting back or neck.

Incredible camping pad

Incredibly comfortable camping pad. It’s easy to inflate, I rated it a 9 because it can be tough to deflate. It’s very thick and takes some patience on getting down to a size that is manageable. For car camping it’s great. Was in 35 degree weather and no issues.

captian comfort

Definitely used for car camping. can be a pain to put away but man is it worth it for the good night sleep you will get on it. best sleeping pad or air mattress I have used by far. self inflation works and then a few breaths to top it off. takes some practice to put it back in the bag and roll it up but once you figure out a system it is not too bad. I usually roll it up a few times and each time it gets more and more air out. it takes time but it gets the job done. definitely worth it.

Ordered for car camping. Comes in nice carrying bag. Was extremely comfortable and felt much better than an air mattress. First self inflation took some time but improved with future uses. Can be difficult to fully deflate but carrying bag is large enough to fit the pad.

Solid mattress

Excellent size and comfort for car camping. Very comfortable; wife dogs and I have used for 10+ nights so far. Dinged 1 star because it seems physically impossible to roll it up tightly enough to pack into the included storage bag.

Comfy but bulky

I get a great night's sleep on this mattress/pad, even as a side sleeper. I've used it in friends homes and for car camping. The comfort and materials are great, but do note that it still requires a lot of air to inflate it the whole way and it's a royal pain to deflate and roll up. I'm 180lbs athletic build and I struggle with my body weight to compress it enough while rolling it for the straps to work and for it to fit in it's bag. Based on the product description I thought inflation and deflation would be much easier, but it is comfortable and overall what I was looking for. I have plenty of experience with air mattresses and backpacking sleeping pads, so you know where my opinion is coming from.

Super comfy

One trip in and it made all the difference in comfort for my wife and I. Would recommend pairing with an electric pump, really helps deflate it without wrestling the pad.

Best sleep I've gotten while camping!

I have been camping since I was a toddler... I grew up using old Thermarest sleeping pads, then as I've gotten older and developed more back pain, I began searching for other sleep system options. I've tried many different brands and styles of pads and still find myself waking up often or not sleeping at all because of the pain. Though this pad is too large for backpacking, I've found that I no longer bring any other pad while car camping. I have never slept better on any other pad or airmatress while camping. I even use it for when friends visit and need a place to sleep. Everyone who has used it has said how it's much more comfortable than any couch or (much larger) airmatress they've slept on. Obviously, all that comfort comes with the price of size - it is quite large even when packed up - but the space it takes in the car is worth it. It can fit two people but I often prefer to use this just for myself, giving me even more room to spread out.

Super comfortable

This mattress is very comfortable. My first time testing it in my living room I took a nap on accident bc it was so comfortable. The hardest part is rolling it up after. I haven’t mastered that yet. I can deflate it but I can’t pack it as small as it arrived. This is for car camping beginner or expert camper.

Super comfortable, easy to inflate with a pump. I imagine it would be tricky to inflate without one. Currently using this in my van, fits 2 adults easily

Extreme comfort

Comfortable for two adults. You can lay all the way to the edge without falling off. I don't think any of these pads fully self inflated, but they get like 75-80% of the way. Happy with ours, we'd like to buy another but we want a queen for the wife and I.

Comfortable

Most comfortable car camping sleep system Ive used so far. Inflates on its own...allow a good bit of time for the first fill though. Found it very comfortable to use, almost forgot I was camping.

Very comfortable

This thing is super comfortable to sleep on. It’s my go to car camping pad. I even took it on a family vacation recently and slept on it in the floor of our Airbnb. It’s a touch bulky and a little tricky to put away. I found the easiest way put it up is to use an air pump on vacuum mode.

Comfortable, prefect size

I have been looking for a comfortable sleeping pad for camping. I have a nice Coleman cot so I can sleep off the ground, but it's harder than a brick to sleep on. At first I tried a Hest, sure liked how that was, but a royal pain to roll up and store away. Next was this one and wish I had started out with it, self inflating to a point. I purchased a small little fan from the web to inflate it faster. This rolls up and compresses really nice. When I'm at home I use my vacuum cleaner and pull every more air out to make it more compact.

Comfy sleep but hard work!

This mattress is very large and comfortable after it is all set up. It requires quite a bit of manual inflation after self inflating and is very difficult to fit back into the bag it comes with when you are packing up. Overall, a great comfortable glamping mattress if you don't mind spending a few extra minutes for the set up and take down.

Extremely comfortable to sleep on. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the self inflation. It inflates about half way and then I had to blow it up the rest of the way, which really wasn't a huge deal. overall I would recommend, especially if you need insulation.

Sets the bar for car camping comfort

I've tried a lot of sleeping pads and this one beats them all in comfort. Took this on my most recent camping trip and slept so well. Easy to inflate. The size makes it a bit tricky to deflate, but it fits well in the bag it comes with (take a couple roll ups to get all the air out. Big and bulky, sure, but if you're looking for a really comfortable pad in a car camping setting, this is such a good option.

This mattress is super comfortable and very simple to set up and use. It’s very insulated so it keeps you pretty warm when it’s cold. I used it down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit with a -35 degree sleeping bag and stayed warm and comfortable all night. One negative is that since it is super insulated, when it’s warm at night i would get too hot throughout the night so for me it’s not very good for the warmer seasons.

Makes for a jealous wife

I tested it out in my backyard with my 5year old and my wife layed on it checking out our setup and she came out laughing about how comfortable it was. My 5 year old and I slept through the night with pouring rain outside couldn’t have been much more comfortable. NOT for backpacking that’s for sure…very bulky but for car camping it’s like having a pillow top mattress in a tent. If space is not an issue then 100% I would ask why everyone doesn’t have this. Game changer especially with the young kids just getting into it. Makes all the difference with a good night sleep.

incredibly comfortable

this was purchased for 2 reasons and pleasantly exceeded expectations. I wanted something I could lay out in my forester over the flattened back seats and car camp. Or, fit inside a tent for a luxurious camp site experience. I wasn't concerned about weight. this isn't by any means light, but it's not as heavy as an air mattress. it inflates itself extremely well. I top it off to my preferred comfort level with a flextail pump. this is a magic pad. I sleep all over, belly, side, back, and I sleep hot. this has made every uneven surface disappear, and I've never felt the ground when I'm on top. I have the 41"wide version and it fits inside even my smallest 2 person tent. roll up is a breeze, especially if you deflate it with a pump. I couldn't be happier with the mat for the times I've used it.

Super comfy, but poor self inflation

I had to use a manual pump to fully inflate this mattress. I followed instructions and allowed it several hours to self inflate, but it only reached roughly 50%. Once inflated, it's quite comfortable and we slept great. stays inflated even on cold nights.

Very Comfortable

Used this several times in a hunting cabin. Very comfortable and easy to inflate. About as good as sleeping at home. It is a bit large for backpacking and very difficult to get back in the original bag, but awesome for large tent, cabin, or car use.
