quality shoe

For a full leather shoe the break-in was very fast, maybe 3-4 hrs. They were really tight around the mid foot but the lacing was easily adjusted. I typically ware a 10-10.5 wide boot but based on their size chart I ordered a 9.5 and was fully expecting to have to return them, but the length is just right and the toe box has plenty of room. Before taking them outside, I nik-waxed them and after a few hours of wet yard work I have no complaints. They are tight around the heal which I like and for such a low cut shoe they are quite stable. shoe horn is highly recommended to not damage the heal. only gave the 4 star because the lace holes aren't reinforced except for the last one and for a ~200$ shoe that seems like a standard thing to be missing.

Perfect outdoor shoe

I used to tear through one pair of low top waterproof hikers every year until I got these. These shoes hold up better than any other shoe I have ever owned in this class. I use them primarily along river cobble, hiking in the rain and walking across packed snow. They show no signs of wear and I feel like I am driving a luxury 4wd with great snow tires when I when I am wearing them. Break in period was minimal and they get more comfortable with each use.

Heels slip a bit

I have 2 pairs of Zamberlan boots and they fit so well. These don’t seem to have the same fit quality as my boots do. I can wear my boots for hours without fatigue however these particular hikers hurt the bottom of my heels after short periods of walking and the heels slip until they’ve been on and walking for while. They look really nice but unfortunately they’re not my first choice footwear. I much prefer my Viox over these shoes.

Very comfortable hiking shoe. Recommend using the sizing chart on the Zamberlan website. These most likely won’t fit using your usual shoe size (will run big). The size chart comes up smaller than you’d think, but I found it worked and gave me the right size.

Fit like a glove

I received them and three days later boarded a plane. I never had any trouble with fit. This is my third product from Zamberlan and could not be happier
