Great Boot!

Overall first impression is fantastic! Boot is very sturdy and well made and has a perfect snug but not tight fit on my foot. The sole is a good bit stiffer than I was expecting, but that is alright as I spend a fair amount of time in rough rocky terrain off trail. The tread is aggressive and seems tough, but has good design and a little give for what I expect to be excellent traction. They do squeak loudly on tile and hard foors, but i expect that to improve or completely go away after some more break in. The upper provides very good support without being too tall or biting into the calf. Overall this is a very good all around boot that I will use for everything from light day hiking to carrying heavy packs off trail.

Quality

Quality undeniable. Waterproofness good so far. Comfort slightly above average. Doesn't get the 5-star because the stiff cupping heel does cause blisters until fully broken in. Most boots these days can be worn without a break-in period. This one is slightly stiff, however, in the back end. Also, this runs a slight bit roomy for what most euro sizing is. I'm American but use euro sizing for more accurate fit and because it tends to run standard across companies. Boots were used for four days in inclement weather in the mountains on an elk hunt.

I have used these boots for a full field season in fisheries and they have been great. They provide plenty of ankle support without being too cumbersome. As a whole, they have held up great and still look almost new. My only complaint is that after the first use, I had a blister from the boots rubbing on my heel. However, they have broken in and I haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend these boots for anyone who does extensive hiking in rough terrain.

Lynx for the Win

Love these boots. I would recommend wearing them try to your size. I went half a size down and they’re a bit snug, but I use them for elk hunting so I prefer a tighter fit anyway. I broke them in with rucking and they’ve gone up the elk mountains with me twice now and through the white tail ridges during early season. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who is on the fence.

Light, tough, and comfortable

These books have been great on a CO elk and pronghorn hunt. Cactus does not stick in them. Good side support for side stepping steep hills for elk. More time will tell for durability. A bit hot I wish they came in a non-waterproof version. Very little break in for me, they were comfortable out of the box. No blisters.

Excellent Hardcore Hiking Boot

The support is superb with a high build quality. Used it throughout Glacier National Park on trail and extensively off trail. Required very little break in and true to size. My only little quibble would be the tinniest of delaminating of the toe rind. Definitely a boot for the serious hiker or hunter.

Great Boots!

I was looking for a high quality pair of boots to wear hunting out west. I tried on several different brands and these fit my feet the best. They are comfortable and very well made. I am extremely pleased with these boots! I am now a Zamberlan fan.

Great Boots

I used these boots to upland hunt in North Dakota. They offer excellent support and feel like tennis shoes. They breathe well with minimum foot sweating.
