I worked these boots hard! Wilderness trail work and tree planting beats up all brands of boots. The boots held up better than several other brands I have owned in the last 20 years. I am about to get another pair, but they lasted almost 3 years of heavy abuse (rock kicking, heavy pack over miles, wet feet, snow, etc.). Unfortunately, the inside of the boot wore through at the seam below the ankle cuff on the heel before the rest of the boot. But, again, some of the best hard-working all leather boots on the market, in my humble opinion.

I used to have a pair of Garmonts, another Italian leather boot. They have been discontinued, so I looked to Zamberlans and am very delighted with the quality and comfort of these boots. I've had these boots for a year, put on almost 200 miles and gone through all 4 seasons hiking in the Colorado Rockies through mud, snow, scree and shallow streams. They are a stiff soled boot, which I really like and they offer great ankle support. The treads have excellent grip and are very durable. The reinforced, more robust toe was definitely worth the upgrade and has saved the boots a lot of scuffs and dings that otherwise might have compromised the leather. The boots are definitely waterproof and the insulation is perfect for cold temps, but not too much so I can wear them in all seasons by changing the weight of my socks. I have conditioned them twice and the leather has softened in a year and is much lighter than when they were brand new. Although the leather uppers have softened, I still find them very supportive in the ankles. I am very happy with the quality of the boots and look forward to many more miles in them!

I've had these shoes for close to a year and still fit look like I got them last week. Very durable and comfortable - have only gotten blisters on unexpected long days with poor socks. Waterproof, good ankle support, grippy soles and have been complimented on appearance . Only complaint is they can feel a little clompy, slightly bigger/heavier than I feel is necessary - so I wouldn't recommend them for running. But they work well for their designed purpose.

I broke in these boots on a 20 mile hike over difficult and rocky terrain. They performed wonderfully. They are lightweight -- I wasn't dragging my feet by the end of the trip -- but durable enough that my feet were fully protected. The soles are super grippy, and I had no trouble with the slick rock surfaces. My heels blistered pretty badly, but that's to be expected when breaking any new boots in. Otherwise they were perfectly comfortable.

These shows are comfortable, sturdy, and make your feet feel secure. Only took a couple of wears to break them in. I recommend not synching the ankle support really tight the first few times because the shoe is stiff and the tight ankle support makes it hard to flex your foot when walking. Once the ankle support was broken in, I was able to tighten it more securely. The boots are also very stylish!

I did 18 days in the wind river range in Wyoming and absolutely fell in love with these boots!! I put them to the test crossed 80 rivers and walked about 500,000 thousand steps

Waterproof and wide enough. I don’t need a wide boot, but a lot of women’s boots are too narrow in the toe box, these are great. I ordered a 9H/42, but a 41 or maybe even a 40 would have been a better option. I am in a K9 SAR unit and we go through a lot of brush.

Incredible quality as always. My wife loves the incredible support these provide when packing in or summiting. Takes time to break in.
