Good craftsmanship in this boot. Lite, comfortable, true to size, and appear to be able to hold up to rough wear. I like this boot. The only thing I could complain about would be the front eyelets of the boots appear to be uneven but maybe they were made that way on purpose because they do not cause any discomfort at all. I wear these to work and for hikes.....they are nice enough for both for sure. And, the heel is very comfortable as there is no pain in ankles/calfs/knees when walking. I say this is a keeper overall.

Right out of the box these are beautiful. Excellent quality, fit and finish. First outing with these was a day hike on mixed snow/rock/dirt trail. These boots had the grip and support of a much heavier duty boot with the heft of a much lighter hiker. Like a heavier duty all leather boot I anticipate that there will be a break in period and that my heels which got a little warm will be just as comfortable as the rest of my foot. Just off a 12 day trip and after 80+ miles the boots look great, performed great with a heavy pack and in all kinds of scrambling, hiking, and weather.

I have had these boots now for almost 5 years. They have been abused much of their life. The part of the sole that wraps up on the toe is finally starting to come loose, and the right one has lost its waterproofing. But the way I worn these things over the 5 years, these things have done great.

These boots felt very comfortable straight out of the box. They also look great and appear to be very well made. I have used them for dog walking, day hikes, and general active duty and would highly recommend them for any of those purposes. I have not had them long enough to comment on their long-term durability, but it is reassuring to know they can be re-soled if need be. Fit for me was true to size for a hiking boot.

I bought these as a light weight boot for my upcoming trip to South Africa. Just like my 851 "Hunting" they are supremely comfortable. I actually like these better than my running shoes. Lightweight, warm, minimal break in. I will only be buying Zamberlans from now on. Worth every penney!

So far so good haven’t had them for long enough to really give a great assessment. So far they have held up to near constant use with about 30% of my time in the woods.

After several short multi-mile hikes the boot feels broken in and very comfortable. The materials and construction are clearly top notch. This is my first pair of Zamberlans and thus far very impressed and hoping same over the long haul.

The boot was a perfect fit. I just came back from Norway and Iceland. There was no need for a break end period. I wore them almost everyday on a 20 day trip. No hot spots or sore spots. Just a great boot.

Great quality and most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Definitely a light boot, but think it would do well off trail as well
