I was surprised how good these are, even with the high price tag.

Love the color. Love the fit. Love the feel. Love the BOA system. When you're hiking with laces in the military and you have to stop or don't... and your feet pay the price.... you can begin to appreciate the SPEED with which you can make adjustments WITH ONE HAND. It's just awesome. Can't remember where i got this info... but i seem to remember hearing or reading that the BOA system can take more than 400 lbs of pressure with no issues. I was hesitant as i'm sure many first timers are... but it's totally unwarranted. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE... you could use these as hiking, hunting or assault boots. Highly recommended. Didn't even need to break mine in.

Super comfortable

I had been hesitant to buy boots with the boa system because I didn't think they were able to be fixed if broken. Thankfully boa teamed up with zamberlan to offer a lifetime replacement for free for the life of the boots. So I decided to get a pair and boy am I glad I did. They are super comfortable and sturdy. The boa system is really easy to use both for getting on and off. I live in Wyoming at 7200' and do lots of hiking. I have 6 big game tags to fill this year plus a gsp for bird hunting. I fully expect these bad boys to keep up. I've had Danner pronghorns (both og and the crummy version before they fixed them), meindls, and Redwing elk hunters and these are definitely the best. Highly recommend

Great boot

This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair was accidentally ran over and tore the seams on both boots. I tried several times to contact Zamberland without a call or email back. It was during the height of covid but regardless I feel like I should have received some sort of contact in less than threre months. I feel they deserved a second chance which is why I purchased an identical pair to what I had. I have several miles on these already from turkey season and they done a great job. They do excellent in about any terrain and have been great in water and kept my feet dry.

Excellent and versatile boots!

I’ve had these boots for almost a year and have used them hunts, hikes, and just walking around. They are extremely comfortable with minimal break in time. They offer great ankle support, breathe well, and the boa system makes them super easy to adjust on the fly. They’ve handled all types of weather thrown at them. With a warm pair of socks they did well for me in snow, yet kept my feet comfortable in 90 degree, 11 mile treks looking for spring turkey. No hot spots to speak of! Waterproofing is excellent. I’ve yet to get them on a backpacking trip, but I’m very confident these will do the job. The only thing keeping me from ranking a 10 is the stock insole, but in my experience it’s best to find an aftermarket insole that works best for your feet anyway.

Very comfortable and reliable boot!!

I use this boot on a recent trip to the back country of Colorado. Very comfortable and very reliable many times I walked through streams, and my feet were not wet at all. Four other men in my group all wearing different brands were drying their boots every evening and I never had to. The only knock I would say on this boot would be that they are not insulated so they would not be great for the extreme cold. However, I like this brand well enough that I have since purchased a second pair of boots that are insulated for the cold season.

Great Boot So Far

This was one of the most comfortable boots out of the box I have worn. Great fit, snug where it needs to be, heal was locked in while allowing some space in the toe box. I know people have complained about the Boa system but if you learn how to use it, you can adjust where you want it tighter just by pulling the wires at that spot while you ratchet. This is my second boot with the Boa system and I love the fit honestly. I have a few miles on these now, great traction and stability, good flex where you need it, and everything stayed in place up and down hill. I have not worn them in any kind of weather yet so I can't comment on how waterproof they are. They are a little warm but to be expected with any boot that has Gor Tex or waterproofing. I would definitely recommend this boot!

I have worn these boots through a hunting season and put over 100 miles on them. They have held up very well and expect to get several more years of use out of them. They are extremely comfortable and I feel the BOA is worth the extra money. I usually get them on and tighten them down and after a half mile or so of hiking I will tighten them down the rest of the way as they adjust to my feet. I have a bone spur on my heel and I have always gotten blisters in every pair of boots I own. In these I did not get a blister, but I did get some pretty aggressive calluses after a few weeks of use.

Boot fit was off

This boot is very well made but, the Boa lace system does not seem to tighten enough to secure the boot firmly to the foot. There is too much material around the ankle to allow boa lace to rachet. After walking a little bit, the Boa can be tighten a little more and more. The "break in" process for this boot is not for your foot but rather the laces conforming to the boot and leather settling around the foot and ankle. It's very comfortable from the start and no foot pain what so ever. The grip and control this boot provides is exceptional.

Almost perfect…

These boots are great! The fit was spot on and they are going to last for years. I used them this fall on a back country Rocky Mountain Elk hunt. The weeks leading up to the hunt I wore them around and on a few scouting trips. They required little break in. The only bad thing I can say about them is the foot beds are horrible! I was getting pain in my achilles area, that I get with poor arch support. I ended up replacing the foot beds with superfeet green. This fixed the lack of arch support in the factory footbeds. I was surprised that a boot of this quality would come with this issue.

My go to boot for almost everything!

I have worn these boots for two hunting seasons now and absolutely love them. The BOA system is a dream come true as I can easily get my boots tight quickly. On my goat hunt in B.C. last year we got rained and snowed on 7/10 days. These boots kept my feed completely dry in the toughest conditions and no blisters or issues. Definitely recommend.

These boots did not need any breaking inn. Recently took them on a 8 mile hike in the Idaho mountains and had no issues with my feet hurting. Also did a few hikes in Yellowstone National Park again had no issues with the boots. I really like how fast you can cinch up the boot laces or loosen them up as needed. Great boots!

Sturdy

This boot got me through some of the hardest hiking conditions I've ever experienced. Tramping though countless rivers, up and over several mountain passes and a couple hundred kilometers and the boot held up well. I didn't get any blisters like I have with other boots and the boa has held up well so far! The boot sizing ran a little large for me but for the experienced hiker looking for a tough boot, this is a good one.

Durable!

I have used these for early season deer, elk, and upland bird. The tread has held up well in the mountains and wet lands of western WA. You will have to treat them every few uses or after a really wet outing. They keep my feet dry and blister free even on 15 to 20 mile days. The only downside is the BOA system, so if I were to buy them again I would buy the lace-up boot. The BOA system has not failed and you can contact BOA for a free replacement set if you are worried about them breaking like I was.

These boots were made for walking!

Bought these for the first of hopefully many hunts in the high country. I have difficulty keeping my feet healthy in hard activities. I lose toenails easily and blister up easily. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever had hands down. They have weight to them and that may be a drawback for some, but the comfort far outweighs the weight. Ha. The BOA system is icing on the cake. Buy them.

Great right out of the box.

These boots were great right out of the box. Super comfy and held up great to hiking around northern Idaho for early season elk hunt. The boa system is fantastic. Wish all my boots had this feature. Walked through a few streams with ankle high water. Zero water intrusion and once out the water beaded right off the leather. Not sure how they will hold up in the long run but so far so good.

So these boots with the Boa lacing system are great. Comfortable, Stylish, and Rugged. I do worry about the soles as they are soft, but they are described as early season archery hunts. A great boot unless you plan on climbing rocky mountains with that soft sole. Also the boots did "squeak" while walking, but after using some leather conditioner in the tongue area, they are completely silent.

The most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. Heading to my 4th state this season and Zamberlans will be on my feet for years to come, just bought two more pairs for different climates.

Great quality boot but still getting used to the BOA lacing. I do like that it doesn't loosen as I hike but I would prefer the boot be tighter in the toe than the ankle and this is not an option with the BOA system.

Good

Overall great boot. Does make a little squeak when you walk. I’m hoping that when I break a lace, it will be easy to replace and fix. That made be a little hesitant when researching this boot.

Excellent

These boots performed right out of the box. My go to archery boot. Easy on easy off and super stable for that 60# pack. 2years on them and still feel new.

Great Durable Boot

I really these boots, they were a little tight/stiff out of the box but broke in after about 10 days hunting in early bow season. The sole is a little stiff for my style but they are great durable boots and don't weigh a ton.

Fit great

I bought these to use for hunting and fit was spot on. Very comfortable with no issues and I've had them in rain and snow. Feet stayed dry

First long hike about 4 miles, and were vary comfortable. I can't review on durability yet as I haven't put a lot of miles on theses yet
