I wear these boots at least 3 days a week year round and they have multiple long assignments on them as well. The boots are very comfortable on the fire line along with wearing around the station and on medical aids. I have owned many of this style boot and I think that the Zamberlan boots have the best durability to comfort ratio. I haven’t had an issue with the eyelets coming undone or any of the fabric and leather wearing down. My feet stay cool in the summer and I have never had a blister in them. They breath well. In the winter where I work it frequently dips below zero and my feet are warm with the right socks. I gave them an 8 out of 10 because the outside stitching on the sole has wear from a steep and rocky terrain. This is the boot’s second year. It hasn’t affected the performance of the boot so far. Multiple people who run hand crews have switched to these as well and say the same about durability. I will be buying another pair once these wear out.

Stupid comfy, darn thing wears like a sneaker and weighs about as much. Works well for trail work, maybe a bit on the warm side, but haven't had an opportunity to take it out on fire yet. Only complaints are I wish there were line lockers at the instep and the sole rubber is quite soft and I've had chucks come off the sides of a few lugs. Would still recommend because they're way comfier than Whites.
Fire and Rescue
I am a volunteer firefighter, so I do not wear these boots every day. However, the are by far the most comfortable wildland boots I have ever had. They have been durable so far (I am still in my first season using them), and seem to function well in various environments (brush, dirt, rocks, etc.)
