Best out-of-the-box comfort

I have wide feet, which is my first obstacle in finding comfortable footwear. Between the Army and my current position on a SWAT team that primarily serves rural areas, I've used Danner and Salomon with varying degrees of success. Those boots were decent, but none as comfortable as the T8 NFS. I have never worn a boot that was more comfortable straight out of the box. They have a perfect balance between ankle support, structure, and flexibility. The second day I wore them I got in a foot chase through thick brush (suspect was caught). It felt like I was wearing running shoes. The lacing system is the best I have used to help provide consistent structure while still leaving the ability for the boot to move with my feet. I cannot rate durability as I've only worn them several days but up to this point I have only good things to say.

Comfortable, durable and will last you years

I bought these boots in late 2019 prior to my last deployment, out of the box these boots were super comfortable and needed minimal break in time. The quick lacing system works super well especially when you need to get your boots on in a hurry. I've probably put over 1,000 miles on these boots and as of 2022 they are still kicking. The only thing I would change about these boots are the included laces, I personally replace them with coyote tan 550 cord because I feel its easier to lace the boots and gives me extra lace to tuck the laces in. As long as you take care of these boots by keeping them clean these boots will take good care of you.

My Go To Duty Boot

This is my third pair of NFSs. First time trying the wide. Still a great boot. I have tried so many others(Merrell, Garmont Bifida, Salomon, Nike) but keep coming back. My most recent pair lasted a while deployment and could have gone longer but i made the choice to get new and go for the wide for extra toe box room.

The best tactical boot available

There is no other AR 670-1 boot I wear. These are hands down the best. Comfortable starting day 1.

Best in class

I've used these boots through everything from rucks, general PT and field training. Easiest break in process of all the boots I've worn. Barely felt any pain even after 12 mile rucks.

Best Fast Ruck Boots

I purchased these for the Norwegian Foot March, I’ve put over 100 miles in these boots and they are exactly as advertised. Very lightweight, basically a running shoe with ankle support, comfortable enough even for jogging with a 25lb pack. Very minimal break in, a couple short walks was all it took. No locking eyelets but that is expected for lightweight boots, it did not make any problems for keeping the foot area looser than the ankle. It goes without saying that grippier rubber soles sacrifice durability but for the purposes of this boot I think it was perfectly appropriate.

Awesome boot

Super comfortable and light weight boot. No break in required. Sneaker type fit. If you don’t have extremely skinny feet go with wide. I never use wide on other shoes but needed wide for these. The front is a little bit narrow. Construction seems solid, we’ll see how they hold up, I’ll update if they wear fast. Good boot for anyone looking for something light with no break in required and sneaker type of fit.

Garmont NFS

I ordered these boots for the Norwegian ruck march, Luxembourg Diekirch, and 4 days march. They have held up amazingly and feel great after hundreds of miles.

Tactical boots

These are great boots that used both on the range and while hiking, no complaints so far. Excellent support for feet when walking, no excessive fatigue from long periods of standing. No sweating when wearing them for most of day. Very satisfied with the fit as well.

So nice I bought em twice

I bought these boots a few years back and was in love with them. After moving to the Bifidas from Garmont, I didn't like how they wore in over time. Came back to these as soon as my last boots wore out. The break in period is maybe a couple of days, and they're light and comfortable. Definitely great for garrison and field work

Amazing boots. Held up great for about 2 years - for me, and what I put boots through, that's really great. I usually buy a pair of work boots about once a year. Great water resistance and the loop on the back of the boot helped a lot when putting them on, especially while wearing gear. The break in period is a BIT rough only because of the metal eyelets. I have buddies that just don't lace that part at all for maximum comfort.

For the boys

Great boots, they run a little tight so get a half size up. I wish the toe box was a little wider on the wides. I have approximately 120 miles rucking with these, usually 10-15 miles hikes. I haven’t had a blister yet. I highly recommend getting good insoles just in general. Super feet Trail Blazers make a good pairing for these boots. Ropes don’t eat away the sides of the soles too bad for my helo company / air assault dudes out there. Additionally, they’re not the most water resistant but they will dry out fairly quickly.

Great overall boot. Lightweight and durable. Great for garrison, but also out in field or a ruck. Would purchase again.

Best Combat boot

This boot does it all! I absolutely love this boot! This is my third pair and I wouldn't go with another boot. I have used these boots from long rucks, combat runs, deployments, swimming, and office work. They last great, bite into rope, and I can stand all day. Not cramped in the toe area and they breath.
