best enduro pedal out...

I have been on the CB enduros for several years and the E 11 specifically for around 2 years. The customization for fit and feel of the E pedals is unmatched and the fact that they are completely rebuildable is a cherry on top. I did swap out the spindle for the longer version and am running the easy release cleat...as my knees seem to do better with the extra stance width and ease of exit. I have two summers of heavy park riding and countless trail days on this set, they have held up very well and are just starting to get a tiny bit of play in the bearings...refresh kit is easy to install.

Awesome dependable clip in pedals and incredible bang for the buck!

I have really enjoyed using these pedals on both my mountain and gravel bikes especially when electing not to use flats. Typically if I am going to be doing a ride with a good amount of or technical areas, I will switch my flats out and use the clip in pedals. They work well with my shoes and love the adjustability of the pressure and angle of the clip in and out parameters. Great pedals for anyone looking for a dependable consistent clip in style. I would definitely recommend you take a look at adding these to your pedal arsenal.

Mallet Me More

These pedals are awesome. Good platform, light (which you pay for) and the egg beater mech seems good. I like having the combination of a platform and clipless: get some of the efficiency of clipless while having a bit more stability of a flat. I primarily ride buffed out single track in PC, UT as fast as I can without ever racing except STRAVA racing. I travel some to the desert and bike more technical stuff and not having a straight clipless pedal is nice in more technical stuff that I am less adept at.

The platforms of the mallet provide a nice stability during rides, especially on techy portions. Given that it has more surface area you should expect more peddle strikes but generally the shoes won’t release as they would with smaller platforms like the (also fantastic) egg beaters.

Great pedal, worth it?

It’s a great pedal, and coming from the original Mallet E I don’t know if it’s worth the extra money. Both are great pedals and maybe the durability of this one will pay off in the long run. Though the black and gold color scheme is a definite nice touch

So far very pleased with these pedals. Coming from Shimano’s, I found I preferred the Crank Bro’s much more. The platform is also nice and not intrusive like others have been in the past.

It's a small platform pedal that performs well. Weight is good for the size. Entry and exit are good. I wish you could control the float more, but you have to give up something when you shave weight.
