Best Glove I’ve Owned

Expert Recommendation Content This is the best glove I’ve owned. I’ve gone through a lot of gloves and never found one of this quality and warmth. I have very poor circulation and my fingers get cold very easily, but not very easily in these gloves. The soft leather construction is very durable and very soft allowing for phenomenal dexterity and comfort and zero break in period. They are easy on and easy off and stay on well with no real need for cinching them down. The vent works great when they get a little too warm (which they can) and they are completely waterproof in the snow. The only downfall is that they are very sensitive to heat and will shrink A LOT when exposed (see pic); snowmobile handlebar warmers will do them in so not recommended for that activity. Overall, I love these gloves and would highly recommend them.

Great for snowboarding

Just bought a new pair to replace an old pair I have had for about 10 years. Have been great, only time I have had cold fingers is if they get soaked on a slushie day. Looking forward to keeping this new pair for years. They are expensive but I think they are worth it, have held up so far. They have more color options on their website. Super fast shipping/processing, I recieved (Kelowna) the gloves two days after placing the order.

Warm and Dry in Maine in February

This is one of the warmer gloves I've ever owned. The tri-plex insulation lives up to it's billing! I wore this glove last season with temps as low as 3F and never hand any issues. The back of hand zipper pocket both accommodates a hand warner if needed (not afraid to admit that I used them on that 3 degree day!) and also serves as a vent if you get too warm. The glove has good dexterity and runs pretty true to size. As with most leather gloves, the factory water-proofing is temporary and I would recommend regular leather treatments. I'd recommend this to anyone who tends to be outside in cold temps and prefers the dexterity of a glove to a mitten or trigger.

Used many Swany gloves for years. They are exceptional. Use them for skiing, shooting, snowmobiling, equine, motorcycles, industrial work. The trigger, Toaster mitts and gloves have all been great! The fit and mobility is impressive for how warm and insulating they are. Have not had to use the hand warmer pocket, but seems to be good feature. Their sizing chart worked well. I will continue to by Swany.

Super Warm

Just finished teaching a class at -18.5c and my hands/fingers were warm the whole time. I was thinking of breaking out the boot-gloves for the cold toes.

a good buy

I've had 5 days on these gloves so far. One that started at 12 below zero F. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. the details are all very well done. quality zipper on the back of the hand, the gator on the wrist is easy to tighten and release. strap to prevent dropping from lift is nice. They are easy to manipulate the fingers. I've known others that have had the same (or similar) pairs for years and really enjoy them. I'm confident these will stand up to plenty of use.

Best I've had so far

These seem to be the most durable gloves I have owned. My Son has used a pair for 3 seasons of 15-25 days on the mountain and they still have not worn out and remained waterproof. No complaints of cold fingers either even on colder days in the PNW. My fingers easily get cold so I'll pay money for the best on the market. These gloves are a good choice for anyone.

gold standard

After decades of hands burning from frostbite as I got skiing as a child. I ski for a living now and this is the option I use instead of always wearing mittens. and has a pocket outside hand to add heat pad. leashes keep them on your wrists. powder skirts keep the snow out. and when clipped to ski pants belt loop. Holds bottle so I can have a bite of sandwich. Thick insolation not for warm days.

First time I've bought a Swany glove and I was very impressed. I tried them out last weekend skiing in CO when it was very cold and windy, and was very pleased. My hands stayed very warm even on the lift, the gloves are soft allowing for great mobility. I bought size L, they fit my fingers great, and the only 'issue' is they're a little tight across my knuckles. It didn't impact my use or performance, but it's noticeable.

Great gloves

This is my 3rd pair of these gloves, so obviously I love them. Even though I don’t think my hands are that large, I finally figured out that my fingers fit better in mens small than women’s large. I pretty much have to always use hand warmer packs and they fit nicely on the back of the glove. I love the soft leather and the color; first time with not all black.

Very High Quality & Warm Too

I am very impressed by the quality of the materials and construction of these gloves. The allow reasonable dexterity for a glove with this much insulation and when I wore them in 0 degree weather, they kept my hands warm. I used the sizing recommendation and the fit is almost perfect.
