This bag is great. I have had the chance to use it a few times now and it is perfect for three season. The bag is fairly light and is incredibly warm yet I haven't woken up sweaty. The one thing that was a little shocking was how large the bag is. I got the XL because I am 6'1 and other reviews indicated the standard bag was better for someone around 5'8. The length is perfect and it has easy adjustment at the foot for those who are a little shorter. What I mean when I say this bag is large is the sheer amount of room there is to move around in the bag. I am fairly skinny and for me there is enough room to fit 2 of me in the bag easily. This isn't necessarily a con for me but it is something to be aware of as it is a lot of unnecessary material that makes the bag not nearly as packable as I was hoping. It is down so it compresses nicely and with an aftermarket stuff sack I am sure the size can be reduced more. Just know that if you are planning on using this for backpacking and are strapped for space this bag won't do you any favors. However, if this is not your situation I highly recommend this bag as it is the best sleeping bag I have ever owned.

Excellent Bag with plenty of room for side sleepers

Took this on a 7 day elk hunt in Colorado for2nd season rifle (early November) with temps in the low 20s to teens every night, and it performed flawlessly. It’s larger and a bit heavier than a standard mummy bag, but I was willing to carry the extra weight to have a little more wiggle room while I sleep. Initially I was concerned that there was too much room in the bag and I was going to get cold, but with a base layer and a puffy vest on I was almost too warm. I like to put my close and warming layers in my sleeping bag while I sleep so they don’t freeze in my pack over night, and there was plenty of room to spare with all the extra clothes I put in there. Highly recommend if need a little extra wiggle room and don’t mind the extra weight.

Excellent, Roomy Bag

The most comfortable mummy bag I've ever owned. I have pretty wide shoulders and didn't feel restricted at all in this bag. I also love the bag flexing wider at the feet -- great idea. I'll normally switch between back and side sleeping during the night and I was able to do that easily in this bag. I used it in overnight temperatures ranging upper 40s to mid-60s. In the mid-60s the bag got a little to warm although not to excess. The upper 40s it was very nice. I think the bag would be comfortable temperature-wise into the low 40s. The one issue is the zipper doesn't go all the way to the end of the bag. This made it hard to get my feet outside the bag at upper temperatures. The bag is constructed well. The zippers didn't get caught and zipped easily. The bag fabric is light with a nice feel. Down puffed up nicely as well. I was a bit skeptical at first of a synthetic bottom layer and down for the upper layer. But, it actually worked extremely well.

I love this bag!

I use this on a weekly basis and it is nothing but amazing. After a long day I really look forward to getting into my bag. I’m 6’ and have plenty more of space available to stretch out, I do have the long version. I use this bag in 40-80° F temperature. I would recommend this bag to anyone! This item is great for those that are just looking to car camp, as well as backpacking as it packs down. It’s not the smallest as it’s a synthetic bag and not down but it gets down to a nice compact size.

Exceptional Sleeping bag

I’ve used this bag several times now for backpacking in the snow and winter camping with cold winds. I’ve been in conditions with temps in the 30’s. This bag was warm and very roomy. I love the stretch feature that allows me to not feel like I’m in a straight jacket since I like to roll a bit in the bag. I’m not tall. I’m 5’10, but I weight 230 and I had plenty of room. The bag is light weight as well. It doesn’t pack down super small but it’s not bulky either. I love this bag so far.

Great bag, well constructed

I’ve been able to use the bag a couple times while hiking at elevation this year. So far the construction is well above other brands that I’ve had. I opted for the extra space with an xl bag, and it’s definitely worth it if you’re on the taller, bigger framed side. I’m not going to be climbing Everest anytime soon, so the extra weight and material is not a factor. If I run into any problems this fall (2022), I’ll come back to edit my review, otherwise consider it a great buy.

Light and warm

This was my first foray into the more expensive (read quality) sleeping bags. Lightweight, warm, and very comfortable. Design retains heat, allows for ample comfortable space, and packs small and light for transport. Love it! I’m 6’ 285” and it fits me wonderfully, allowing for quality sleep on those chillier outings. Time will tell on durability, but with proper care seems like it should last years. #WorthIt

great bag for the price

Haven't need to use the ability to shorten the bag yet. The bag has been plenty warm on cold,(38 degree) mornings. I am worried about the durability of the zipper. I am larger and thus tuffer on the bag when getting into it. The bag has plenty of foot room for my feet to not feel cramped and it is wide enough in the shoulders for me to turn over. ( I am a side sleeper that changes position several times a night). This is overall a great bag for the price. I am glad I stepped up to this bag.

Great Sleeping Bag

I have broad shoulders and normal mummy bags are too tight for me. This is the second XL Sleeping Bag by Klymit I’ve purchased, both different temperature ratings, and love this sleeping bag. Very comfortable and roomy. The only sleeping bag I use now. They both have been used numerous times camping in Alaska, and slept warm and comfortable.

Great bag

I’ve ran a wildland fire engine for the last 6 years and have had a hard time finding a good bag. I’m 6’3” and like the packed size of mummy bags but hate how restricting they are. This on fixes that problem with elastic bands in the leg area. It keeps you warm at night and is very roomy, way too hot for a day sleeper though.

so much room

I used this sleeping bag on my seven day hunt up in the mountains. Temps got down in the low 30s and I stayed really warm. Paired this bag with the static V. I am 6'4" 235 lbs and had lots of room to move around. The ability to adjust the head area to keep heat in or let some out is a great feature.

Finally a bag with some space!

I enjoy a good amount of leg room in a sleeping bag and get very uncomfortable when I can’t move enough. This bag has been a dream! I was concerned that the extra space would mean sacrificing warmth but with the elastic rings built in around the body, it performed excellently in my latest trip through sub 20’s weather. Surprisingly good for backpacking despite the size, it compresses very well.

The perfect bag

Lightweight, warm, comfortable, STRETCHY! You cant ask for a better sleeping bag. I am 6' tall and about 200lbs, I am a side sleeper, this bag allows comfortable movement without restriction for my shoulders. The elastic throughout the bag is great. I would highly recommend this sleeping bag.

XL size is great

I have this sleeping bag in the normal size and purhcased XL for my 6'4, 210 lbs boyfriend. He is broad across the shoulders and often is constricted in regular bags, but not in this one - it is not constricting at all! He fits and it is both longer and wider than my regular size klymit. It is still lightweight, with good loft, and keeps him very warm. I would def reccomend this to any tall person out there.

Good design and value

This sleeping bag is a great choice for someone that values comfort over having the lightest weight bag. Most bags are too small in the shoulders for me but not an issue in this bag so don't feel like I am sleeping in a straight jacket. The elastic bands keep the bag snugged to your body but still allow me to easily change sleep positions.

Awesome bag for big guys. Most mummy bags make me extremely claustrophobic but this bag has room to spare and is super comfortable. Not the most ultralight bag out there but for the price I don’t think it can be beat for anyone needing the extra room!

For the bigger person

I am on the broader side, very wide chest, and long legs. Most bags never have the room for me to sleep comfortably. This definitely changed that. Plenty of room to roll around, long enough to stretch out, and kept me warm all night. Would get a second one in the future.

Awesome bag

Great sleeping bag. The stretchable toe box is fantastic and let you have a lot of mobility inside the bad. I’m a big dude at 6’ 4” 280lbs with pretty broad shoulders so having the extra room that the XL gives is wonderful
