Functioned well on two-night, 3-day trek

I’m a 54-year-old avid hiker and camper who is just getting into backpacking because my daughter is trying to earn her backpacking merit badge. This pack was recommended to me, as I wanted an affordable, quality pack. It did not disappoint. My load was about 26 pounds (Did I mention I’m new to backpacking?), but the pack supported it well and was very comfortable. I appreciated the adjustable, inflatable back support. I wish there were more places to hook carabiners to the back of the backs similar to my daypack, which is the reason I didn’t give it a 10.

I most recently used this for a seven day trek on the West Coast Trail. It's an excellent light weight pack with plenty of space. I had no issue fitting all 40 lbs. of gear into the pack with only my trekking poles looped onto the side straps. I'm 5'6" and the pack fit great and with the integrated air frame it was very comfortable. We had no rain during the week, so I can't comment on it's water repellency. The only negatives I found were: - the straps tended to slip while hiking, especially the ones on the shoulders to the brain of the pack. I ended up applying hockey tape to the straps to help keep them in place. - While there is a hanger for a water bladder and slots for the hose on either side of the pack, it would be great if there was a sleeve in the pack to separate the bladder from other contents and to help keep the bladder upright and in place. - The air frame held air so well, it was actually more difficult to get the air back out. The vent on the inflation bulb didn't seem to work. I would highly recommend this pack.

Well priced and comfortable

Going ultralight with all my gear. Wanted to try this pack first vs UTL or gossamer due to pricing and am very pleased. Just over 2 lbs and is very comfortable. Has all the design I wanted including well sized hip pockets without all the weight. Lots of BP miles now and still holding up well except for some small wear spots at the bottom of the large side pockets. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

I've taken this pack on the Colorado Trail and the Kungsleden - about 35 days of use in total, average of probably 40lbs carried. Its held up really well and fit nicely. I wish there were a few storage pockets on the side, but that's personal preference. There is some stitching coming undone by the strap, but its not structural - I assume its just from the weight being picked up and dropped by that one strap every time I stop.

With 45 lbs, it's been very comfortable, so far!

Rated up to 75 lbs, I knew this pack would be well within the 45-50 lb pack weight I try to stick to. At 45 lbs, the pack sits very comfortable. Construction is good, and I don't have any reservations about using any of the available attachment points. The side pockets kind of flare out if you're trying to fully load them, but I don't see any real issues coming from that.

Organization and Comfort

I was hesitant when I held this bag in my hands. It is extremely light weight. I was certain I would feel my entire pack and be tired. This was not the case. I loved how the pack dispersed the weight evenly and I didn’t feel any pain in my shoulders from the weight. There is a pocket and place for any type of gear you want to carry with you. I’m thrilled with this bag and can’t wait to use it more.

The best backpack I’ve ever had!

I have backpacked many times through Yellowstone. After trying this pack, I am never going back to my traditional packs again! I love the air frame. Thanks for helping me enjoy my 30 miler, Klymit!

Perfect pack for me

Finding the right pack can be difficult and I feel I have found the perfect pack for me. Great fit, light enough, huge storage, and adjustable air filled chamber for when my gear fits differently. The fabric that makes up the bag itself will withstand rain and keep my gear dry.

Good light weight pack

The pack frame is not at rigid as I would like it to be but it is equivalent in weight to some of my smaller packs so the trade off is worth it if cutting weight or being able to stuff it in another pack as a spike camp pack. It does exactly what I need.

Lightweight, well made

Very lightweight and well designed. Used on several multi-day hikes. Comfortable and breathable on the back. The straps and buckles are not as strong as the rest of the bag. Had one break but was able to repair

I have taken this bag on multiple overnight backpacking trips across Utah and it has been very good. Lots of space to pack things into and durable. No rips or problems on any of the trips.

Travel friendly, weatherproof, lightweight

Bought and used while living at Grand Canyon national park south rim. Traveled to east coast, gave to sibling who used in Death Valley/Colorado during winter. Approved.

Really cool and light pack with lots of useful features. My disappointment is that the backpack that I got doesn't have a sternum strap at all.

It's great pack, with a lot of clips and pockets for exterior storage. Feels great on my back, and the air padding is great too.
