Save Yourself the Anguish of that Long Aircraft Trip

It's a wonderful addition to my travel kit. I use it to sit on while I am traveling on commercial aircraft. The seats keep getting harder and harder and this has made such a difference in how I feel at the end of a flight. It has made life so much better and it fits easily into my carry-on. Anyone can use it and I recommend that anyone who is sore at the conclusion of a trip onboard a aircraft needs to get one of these and help themselves to feel better. Well worth every penny. Be aware that it is easy to leave behind.

Cush for the tush

This is purpose built to be portable, light and most importantly comfortable. I believe this nails it on all fronts at a pretty solid value as well. I was needing something to meet those needs and I found it here. This is especially valuable for someone who has back problems or needs a little extra something underneath them when sitting on hard surfaces. I am not going to limit this to just using when backpacking or on a trail somewhere, but I find myself using it on long road trips when I am driving for long periods, going to sporting events or even somewhere like a picnic table at a bbq because those are painful.

An Anywhere Seat

While I haven't used these camping yet, I have used them at outdoor events. My wife and I attend a lot of outdoor music events and as you probably know, seats seem to be the last thing anyone thinks about when building any event venue. My wife's first comment when seeing the seat cushions was first a smirk, followed by "that looks familiar". "It should" I said. " You use the Klymit V Lux mattress for camping". "Oh", as her smirk seemed to dissipate. Back to the point. On our first use, I don't think it took two full breaths to blow the cushion up and it was comfortable all night in hard stadium seats for a 2 hour concert. The most conformable that we have ever been in that stadium. To top it off, they easaly fit in your pocket when deflated. You have a fan in both my wife and I now. Thank you.

Surprisingly loved this

Expert Recommendation Content So useful, comfortable, & sturdy. I didn’t think I would have any real need for this but I have been using it so often. I took it hiking and had a super comfortable spot to sit while I wrote in my journal for a couple hours. Took it to an outdoor stadium event & it kept my butt warm & comfortable! I’ll be taking it on my hikes and to the crag all the time.

Great portable and inflatable camp chair

4 Expert Recommendation Content The Klymit V Seat is a great addition to your camping gear box. I have loved having this seat handy while camping in Oregon during wet, misty mornings and in Escalante, Utah while doing a 27 mile backpacking trip deep into the sandy desert. It's quick to inflate and has lasted me more than a year so far.

What A Versatile Piece Of Gear

I've used this backpacking as a seat, a pillow, and even as extra padding under my sleeping pad and this thing rocks. It is super compact and inflates in seconds. It has been very durable and I've owned and used mine for about a year now my only complaint is that I need more of these because every member of the family wants to use mine. Perfect for adding some extra comfort on those quick trail stops, too.

Makes every surface a royal throne

Multi-purpose and has inspired me to enjoy more comfort in life. Once you sit on this cushion instead of a rock or log, you'll never go back. Besides being a must-have on my hikes and backpacking, I also use it on flights, art class, theater shows. Everywhere that serves you a hard bottom chair, you bring your own discrete comfort. Highly recommend!

The v seat is an amazing piece of kit and has replaced several heavier and bulkier pads for ground hunting. It came in especially hand on an elk hunt this season in very poor conditions at 10k feet. Effectively insulated from cold, impressively durable, much quieter than expected, and so very lightweight I didn't even notice it in my cargo pocket.

Quick spotting seat

This quick to deploy and put away pad is always on my pack. Perfect to cushion and insulate your butt when stopping to glass on uneven, cold or hard ground on a ridge top. It keeps you comfortable longer so you can really pick apart the country. Small size and weight are perfect. Very tough even when used on sharp rocks or gravel. Keeps you dry when your sitting in snow on those cow elk hunts in Jan. Great all around seat pad. Highly recommend.

Great little product! I love that it's actually a reasonable price as compared to some others out there. I bought it for my wife who has a bad back from old sports injuries. It's small enough & light enough to keep in her purse at all times, and now she can sit thru an entire game or performance on hard seats or bleachers without pain. I take it on all camping trips too.

Perfect packable seat

Perfect to keep in the bottom of the pack. I have used this as a seat while taking off ski boots, aswell as lift for under my pillow while camping. Inflation took minimal breaths (lol) but has proved time and time again that it was well worth the purchase. I have 2: one in my ski bag and one in my camping bag. 10/10 recommend as a stocking stuffer for the holidays. I also imagine this would be great for planes!

Comfort that fits in your pocket

Grabbed one of these last summer and it really came in handy. The cushion inflates and deflates quickly. Folded it fits into almost any back pocket or jacket pocket. Late summer outings and fall football games on aluminum bleachers, the cushion provided a comfortable seat every time. Best of all it did require carrying a bulky folding camp chair or stadium seat. Grab a couple for car glove box to be ready for a picnic, ball game, community concert or whatever happens your way.

Awesome seat

We have one of these stored in the car for each member of the family and they have become one of our most commonly used pieces of gear! I was surprised at how well it insulated against cold aluminum picnic table benches. Our younger children sometimes use them as extra pushing for their car booster seats. One breath to inflate, packs down really small. Just bought 2 more to keep in our day packs. The V design is nice because you sit in the V and your legs naturally follow the V shape. Highly recommend!

Klymit Travel Seat Cushion

I have utilized this inflatable travel seat cushion for a variety of activities ranging from tailgates, hunting in the woods, camping, and most importantly as an added cushion after I broke my tailbone. This cushion takes only a few breaths to inflate and can be rolled up to fit in the palm of your hand. This is a must have for anyone who likes a little added cushion when adventuring in areas that don't have a comfortable place to sit.

Perfect for camp chairs

Packs down to nothing, and a very comfortable addition to a folding camp chair on the cooler days or around the camp fire. only criticism would be that I wish it had a small eyelet or tie point so you could have a little bit of cord to attach it to the chair. they catch the wind very easily when you're not sitting on them.

So small we carry them everywhere...

...and why wouldn't you. My wife carries 2 of these in her purse and we use them all the time. I'm actually surprised how often these come in handy. We use them for all my daughters sporting events, used them at Disney, used them for extra comfort while driving to Disney, use them for hiking as a quick seat and a pillow, on an airplane, and the list goes on...

I use this for backcountry hunting when I am sitting on a rock for long periods of time while looking through binoculars. It works great for that purpose - just be aware that after a few trips, chances are good that it will get a cactus spine or something that punctures it. Seems unavoidable with inflatable products though and it did last longer than I first expected.

perfect, if you can blow it taut!

I have an old chair that I installed a back massager insert from home medics... well the seat on that sucked for WFH during COVID 19. I took a chance on this and love it! It's a bit hard to have it fully inflated and keep pressure while locking the valve. Sitting on it as I type. I can garuntee this a good buy!

Any reason to not have it in your back pocket? Nope.

This thing is great; packs smaller than a cellphone, takes litterally 3 seconds to inflate, cuts the cold and ads cushion, useful as a filler under sleeping pads on rough ground, could provide padding for splints, and weighs about the same as a granola bar. Comparable to competitor products, but lighter/packs smaller. Could be a bit bigger but works good enough for bigger bums.

Essential piece of gear

Any outdoor survivalist will tell you that one basic piece of gear you need is something to kneel or sit on when the ground is cold or wet. I know a lot of guys who carry a piece of foam or use a removable back panel from their pack. This thing is durable, light, and tiny enough to fit in your pocket. It’s one of my essential backpacking items that always goes with me.

The Best Packable Seat Cushion

Klymit’s v seat travel seat cushion packs down insanely small and provides a ton of comfort when inflated. It’s my new favorite hiking and climbing seat, perfect on a boulder and decent on the ground, adding pretty much zero weight to my pack. It seems pretty hearty in terms of the material and was fine on damp surfaces. I am curious to see if it can double as a pillow in my hammock or help with sleeping in the front seat of my car.

Not a chair replacement, but close

This extremely compact pad seems durable enough to provide lasting cushion when you'd rather not sit directly on a rock or a log for an extended period of time. Of course, to be that compact it is thin enough that unless your butt is elevated and your weight is spread out on your thighs it isn't very comfortable when all your knees are bent and all your weight is on your sit bones.

Butt Saver!!!

This is a must have in your bag. I’ve used this on multiple occasions while camping, canoeing, and even as a pillow. Most recently, it saved my butt on a 7.5 mile canoe trip (old canoe, plywood seat). I’m a big boy (6’-1”, 300 lbs) and it has held up great.

I brought two overseas with me. These folding chairs at our deployed site are uncomfortable and these make them so much better. After three months one started to leak, that is why I brought a spare. I will take the leaky one home and try to find the leak and patch it.

I got this to add some extra comfort to my turkey vest cushion for long sits. It weighs nothing and takes up almost no space. I’ve already used it quite a bit this season and it’s showed no signs of wear or leaking. Very satisfied and have recommended it to my hunting buddies.
