The Luxury I've needed!

Despite freezing my butt off with abnormal nighttime lows in the upper 30's/low 40's and not having a proper quilt/bag with me for those temps, I can proudly say that one thing that was NOT cold was whatever was touching my Static Luxe SL sleeping pad! Some of my friends made fun of me for carrying such a large pad while bike packing but over morning coffee they were thinking of upgrading to a higher r-value as well! Aside from its warmth I also love the v-chambers. It actually provides a space for my heels to perfectly rest into. It takes me 15 breaths to fill it to the level I like. I never feel the ground whether laying on my back or side. I've never managed to roll off and love the extra width at the top. If I could make one change to it, it would be to offer it in a shorter version. I'm only 5'3" and when bike packing with a small framed bike you really need all the space you can get!

Pad Kra PAO!

Great pad! Slept well in 40 degree weather using it in a hammock and in a tent. Pros - its got great loft, I am 6'2 200 and sleeping on my side my shoulders and hips didn't touch the ground and weren't sore waking up. -Its the perfect size for me, the extra few inches in height and width are amazing -stuff sack fits it great and its not a war to get it packed in Cons -inflates in 15-20 breathes which feels like a lot, but then its totally worth it once you're sitting on it. -it says its a 6.6 R value, but I have slept warmer on a different brand with an R value of 4. I don't think that their R values are based on the standarized sysem that came out this year, its defintely warm enough to be a 3 season pad but I wouldn't take it for a winter campout. -folding it up is a little odd to figure out its not really intuitive, but they have a video on it which is great!

Sleeping pad is very comfortable. Not the lightest pad, but you have to sacrifice some weight for the high R value and extra insulation which this pad has. Definitely would recommend, especially if you don't have a super warm bag.

Louder than I anticipated

This pad did a great job of keeping this site sleeper off the ground. However the material made a lot of noise as I shifted in the night. I was afraid I kept waking up my tent mate.

I'm a big fella, 6'4 and 310, and this sleeping pad was great. Well worth a little extra weight in the pack to get a better night sleep. Well worth it.

Best 4 season sleeping pad!

This has a 6.5 r value. Awesome! Slept in the snow under the tent and this worked flawlessly.

Very comfortable! And love setting it up

It isn’t the easiest sleeping pad to deflate and roll back up but with enough work it’s worth the effort
