FTC’s Truth-In-Advertising Rules

Definition

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has three rules for advertisers, they're coined the FTC's Truth-in-Advertising Rules. These three rules are as follows:

1. Advertising must be truthful and non-deceptive;

2. Advertisers must have evidence to back up their claims; and
