Recommendations vs. Reviews

While reviews and recommendations may seem similar on the surface, the two come from different sources and suit different needs. Any product user can submit a review talking about their experience with the product, meanwhile recommendations come from trusted experts. Recommendations can target a specific need whereas reviews are typically general and simply illustrate what happened when a user used the product.
