2019 Year-end Site Trends and New Brands

As Experts wrapped up the year gearing up for the holiday season, they enjoyed the gift of 21 new brands across virtually every category available on ExpertVoice. That brings the total count of new ExpertVoice brand partners to 169 for 2019.

The ExpertVoice partners team continues to make great progress building new and existing relationships with industry organizations to continue growing our audience of qualified and vetted experts. Since our October update, conversations have been ignited with the American College of Sports Medicine to build a common community of over 50,000 professional trainers, coaches, instructors and scientists. Additionally, partnerships have been developed with the instructors and alumni of Outward Bound, NOLS and the International Hunter Education Association. The holidays season provides experts some of our biggest flash events of the season, and this year was no exception. Brands participating in the Black Friday flash event saw a 3-5x lift in sales during the seven-day sale when compared with the previous seven days. Because the holiday season is our busiest time of the year, our product and development teams had a freeze on new platform updates or releases, however with the new year in full swing a slew of new features has also been released to the Advocacy Platform. New reports provide you with insight into how promotional media campaigns impact your sales and engagement, as well as new reports to easily compare performance month over month or year over year.   • Experts took 20,978,422 EduGames throughout November and December.
  • 65,105 new experts joined ExpertVoice the last two months of the year.
  • Experts made 105,313 orders, purchasing 170,889 products during the November-December timeframe in ExpertVoice hosted stores.
  • Experts purchased $25,199,602 worth of products in the last two shopping months of the year via ExpertVoice.
  • Experts made 9,870 digital recommendations* on ExpertVoice throughout the holiday months.
  • Experts uploaded 6,343 pieces of EGC** to ExpertVoice during November and December.

**What’s EGC? This is Expert Generated Content – pictures experts have uploaded to the ExpertVoice platform, often tagging brands that they are using in the photo.
